You don't need *big* donors. That is what got the United States into the insider mess we see today. Ya need good message, have a clear position and a whole lot of energy to get your message out. If people like what the hear and trust you, you'll get votes.
Big donor mentality is exactly what we got for the past 30 years. They're bribes. They expect something in return, get it?

she will need to attract donors, and big donors. Case in point, you me and thousands of others are reading about this person right now! She's getting big coverage. And I am very confident she doesn't have Goldman Sacks fronting her millions in bribe money.☺

If that was Hilary, I would expect one of her main donors would be Planned Parenthood. Maybe they have a new logo now.

Totally unrelated, but I’m seriously thinking of getting a VRod.
I didn’t like them at first, but now I stepped in it and I can’t stop thinking about them.
I may have to even re-prioritize this year and get one before I get a classic Buell.

Correctamundo! What everyone running for office needs is voter turnout! Door to door, supporters to neighbors, filling up the polling places with voting citizens. Rich donor gets one vote, poor supporter gets one vote. Many more middle class than elite voters.

Weird that. So a Christian baker can refuse service to the GAYSTAPO but shes allowed to deny entry to her business to muzzies. Im not complaining, just looking at the differences between the two.
Do you think it could possibly be the difference between atheist supporting states of California/Colorado and God fearing Arkansas. Perhaps the district court judges?

They were a target for the GAYSTAPO based on their Christian orientation. The GAYSTAPO could have easily taken their business elsewhere but instead they chose to single out this family business and sue them out of existence........

Oh here we go again. The average citizen is not equipped to hold office. She runs a business, and prolly has the ability moreso than most congresscritters currently there. And even that is not a requirement.
I thought our founding fathers originally intended politicians to only be part time. For them to then go home to the real jobs in between governing.
Weve come a long way down if even people here are saying that we need professional politicians
And have we forgotten about our president?

One certainly does not have to be a rocket scientist be be a mayor, governor or President of the United States.
actually, I think it would be a good idea to have engineers as politicians. We tend to be very logical, conservative, and can balance spreadsheet i.e. budgets.
The problem is we have had nothing but lawyers. Bottom dwelling lawyers.

No need to be an engineer either. Case in point, Trump.

I wasnt saying an engineer was needed- just that it wouldnt be a bad thing. They have traits that could be beneficial. Just like business owners do. Anything but a lawyer!
