With just 18 days before President Trump completes his first year as president, he is now on track to exceed 2,000 false or misleading claims, according to our database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president.
As of Monday, the total stood at 1,950 claims in 347 days, or an average of 5.6 claims a day. (Our full interactive graphic can be found here.)
As regular readers know, the president has a tendency to repeat himself often. There are now more than 60 claims that he has repeated three or more times. The presidents impromptu 30-minute interview with the New York Times over the holidays, in which he made at least 24 false or misleading claims, included many statements that we have previously fact-checked.
We currently have a tie for Trumps most repeated claims, both made 61 times. Both of these claims date from the start of Trumps presidency and to a large extent have faded as talking points.
One of these claims was some variation of the statement that the Affordable Care Act is dying and essentially dead. The Congressional Budget Office has said that the Obamacare exchanges, despite well-documented issues, are not imploding and are expected to remain stable for the foreseeable future. Indeed, healthy enrollment for the coming year has surprised health-care experts. Trump used to say this a lot, but hes quieted down since his efforts to repeal the law flopped.

Bwahahahahahaha! Its WaPo. Fake News!
No, it is not journalism.
They’re doubling down on stupid.
It is pretty wild to see just how far Trump has burrowed into their collective brains...
The average person lies in just about every conversation they have during the day. To only lie that little is a lit more integrous than most of us.
And how many false claims has the WaPo made in the same timeframe? /rhetorical
Oh, yeah! Amazon Post! Have we started charging them full price for shipping? How dare Bezos get wealthy by cheating Americans and our Postal Service.
It’s called “selective reporting” in J school.
Remember, in the “minds” of liberals, statements they don’t agree with are considered “lies” and “misleading claims.”
most reporters and journalists don’t understand what trump says to begin with so how would they correctly be able to determine or state what may be false of misleading?
Large majority of reporters and journalists brains have been trained to believe lies and refute truth. They have also lost the ability or desire to actually try to comprehend information, discern validity or investigate information to determine true facts.
This is the same story the NYT already did about six months ago, only prorated for the additional days of truth-speaking.. Why does the WP copy the NYT?
And how many false claims has the MSM made this year in an attempt to drive the narrative?
To say nothing of the presidential campaign.
Trump is getting into their heads. LOL
Just how many lies has the MSM spread in the past 90 days?
Forged yearbook inscription during the Roy Moore campaign
CDC has a banned words list issued from DJTrump
