NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Country singer Carrie Underwood is bringing in 2018 by sharing more details about more injuries that she suffered after a fall that broke her wrist.
In a blog post to fans on New Year's Day Underwood says she sustained a facial injury that required 40-50 stitches and that she's "not quite looking the same."
She says that she is grateful the injuries weren't much worse and for the people who have helped her since the November accident. She also cautioned fans that she might not look the same when she's ready to be seen on camera again.
"I'm hoping that, by then, the differences are minimal, but, again, I just don't know how it's all going to end up."

Yes. I wasn't really trying to imply her husband did it, merely that she was hiding something or lying about the incident.
The only reason I suspect that is because the first release was that she broke her wrist. Now, she tells people she had 50 stitches to her face.
Maybe she just didn't want her fans to worry until she recovered from the surgery. But it must have been one hell of a fall to cause a broken wrist, contusions and abrasions, and the need for 50 stitches just on her face.
I wasn't trying to insult those who have concerns with falling down stairs. I was trying to say that people (especially women) have been known to lie to cover up obvious evidence of a 'problem'.
It just seems she suffered a LOT of damage from falling down some stairs. I am sure my ignorance of her particular 'stairs' may be what causes me to be more suspicious than trusting.
Remember Harry Reid saying his exercise equipment caused his injuries ?

I watched it and I thought it was funny. A joke about how Trump tweets a lot is innocuous to me. I could tell they were playing it right down the middle so as not to offend. Which is light years to the right of the Hollywood awards shows where Weinstein is called gd and there are standing o”s for pedophiles and no one ever cares if ANYONE in the room might be a conservative. At least the CMAs make an attempt to include the trump side.
Brad Paisley has either hinted or outright stated he’s a Democrat in country music (not really a unique situation with the current crop of “entertainers”). He did a song about how proud he was to have Obama, with his idea being “even if you don’t agree with him, you have to be proud a black man made it.” Not in the LEAST. I voted for a black man for president in 1996 (Alan Keyes, in the primary). I’ll take a black president, but only if he is the right man for the job. Not the worst guy ever just because he has dark skin.

If you get 40-50 stitches on your face, you took a serious fall, it would seem.
