(Foreign Affairs know-it-alls)
Several key advisers to former President Barack Obama have poured scorn on President Donald Trumps support for the protests sweeping Iran in recent days. In 2009, when the Green Revolution threatened the Iranian regime, Obama and his administration refrained from supporting the protests. Obama said that we respect Iranian sovereignty and want to avoid the United States being the issue inside of Iran.
That weak response, and the administrations general lack of support for the demonstrators, allowed the regime to consolidate power.
Obama was more concerned with preserving the possibility of an eventual deal on Irans nuclear program than he was in removing the Iranian regime as a strategic threat or in standing up for human rights. Critics charge that Obama missed a golden opportunity.
President Trump has taken the opposite approach, vigorously supporting the protests and criticizing the regime:

The picture of both of them sitting in the White House should have Obummer sitting on a toilet seat.
Valerie Jarrett living with Zer0 and the Mooch? Ménage à trois? A step toward Islamic polygamy? Spit!
I still say Rice us a dude....
Filth.
She also lived in the White House with the Othuggas.
Was she paying rent? Is the IRS interested?
Exactly, the easiest way to know what the right thing to do is...just consider what Obama would have done and do the opposite.
Our media will nail him to the wall for such hypocrisy!!!
...or not ;p
Really makes you wonder what secrets he doesn’t want exposed.
Actually, two different things are in play here. The Muslim Brotherhood was WIDELY encouraged to take up revolution against majority-Sunni Muslim dictatorships, while the majority-Shi’ite Muslim dictatorships are supposed to be left in place, and revolution against those are supposed to remain suppressed. That is why the “Arab Spring” did not reach into Iran, even though there was plenty of foment going on there in 2009.
One thing to keep in mind - no Muslim-majority country embraces in any way anything like a popularly elected government modeled on democratic principles, allowing for a plurality of opinion and open discussion of reform. Reform, if it comes, is dispensed through the magnanimous generosity of the theocratic patriarchy, and comes only in small proportion, swiftly withdrawn if people seem to be “abusing” their new-found “freedoms”.
When the Shah was still in charge of things in Iran, he was asked why he did not allow the degree of freedom that a country like Sweden allows to its royal subjects. His reply was, that if his people were like the Swedish people that may be possible, but they are Farsi Muslims, and not nearly as tractable or civilized when allowed to exercise personal initiative.
With or without the Shah, Shi’ite Muslims are still Shi’ite Muslims.
Gee, so thats what the teleprompter programming staff is up to.

Former Obama Advisers Tell Trump To Be Quiet...
Because leading from behind worked out SO well for their massa
What's that all about?
Something weird going on there.
Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice tweeted a New York Times op-ed by former Obama aide Philip Gordon, How Can Trump Help Irans Protesters? Be Quiet.
Obama’s former advisors can shut up.
Their `Arab Spring’ debacle turned the Levant and north Africa on their heads, caused countless deaths and maimings, wasted billions of US tax dollars, armed & aided terrorists and flooded Europe and the US with refugees.
Of course, that was the plan. One more time Obillary stooges: STFU!
Advice from enemy islamists.
Think Trump will listen to these Clowns? Never (though it might give him a well needed laugh).
I think it is some sort of resistance effort from there.(?)
