Zack Whittaker-CBS-... India has a national ID database with the private information of nearly 1.2 billion nationals. It's reportedly been breached. Admin accounts can be made and access can be sold to the database...

This is a legitimate worry. If a national Voter ID law is passed, it should be a requirement that counties administer the record-keeping and ID issuance, safeguard it and keep it private, subject to random periodic security checks by the Feds. We have 3,142 counties in the U.S. To crack that would require a lot of breaching.
