I’ll never forget the video of (400 pound female) welfare recipients waddling down to alternate post offices to pick up their wefate checks, after their men had burned down their local post offices during the early 1990s (Rodney Kong) Los Angeles riots.

The people in these areas remind me of the same dynamic.

Niven and Pournelle wrote a great satirical novel about Los Angeles, as a city where the magic was running out 14,000 years ago (science fiction/fantasy).

It is The Burning City. I LOL over and over again, reading that book. Good on many levels.

Lots of people do not see the satire.

Much like Gulliver’s travels, but better written.

Their real need (like our own) is Jesus. Instead, we give them EBT cards for "bread" hoping it fixes their problem when Jesus himself said, "It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’" (Matthew 4:4).

Then we wonder why they act like the Devil while we are feeding their self-destructive behaviors?
