I had -6 north of Milwaukee this morning. Warmed to +4 earlier today and supposed to hit -8 tomorrow morning. RFC
When I’ve seen it in recent years, the music isn’t even very good...
It’s been kind of interesting to see the working barges complete with full concrete trucks drilling and pouring the pilings for the new I-74 bridge in the middle of the river.
That’s how I see it...just boring....
Ouch. Mid 80s here. I am glad I don’t do cold weather anymore. 😁😀😆
Times Square is so empty.....they’re having to get really close up, on the crowds.
Frozen Diaper Night.
I won’t be going out and it’s cozy warm here since I closed off the bedroom and brought in the other oil filled heater today....I have baseboard heat the air has to be heated back up as it clicks on and off....so I got these wonderful ‘radiant’ oil filled heaters which I love! Keeps the temps steady.
Glass of wine handy for the night....I’m good.
13 degrees in Maryland.
Deep in the heart of flyover country. Plains of Kansas is a crisp 1 degree with a fresh wind chill of -11.
Early morning will be -8 till the sun breaks.
My main concern is my 3 bee hives in the back yard. Those ladies gonna get cold tonight.

Just below zero here. We are on a path for record setting (duration) cold snap, but in the scheme of things, I think this isn't far out of the norm. Early cold, early ice, the ice fisherman are blessed!

We’re grilling steaks (outside), for dinner.....having a hard time getting the grill up to (it’s usual) 500º....we’re only at 40º outside, right now. :-)
In the mountains in north central WV currently 1, the weather guessers are calling for a low of -5, light snow falling , snowpack varies from 1 to 3 feet.
