Why was the bomb squad on site?
#news ‘Multiple Deputies Down’ in Colorado Shooting, Officials Say - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said it had no update on the condition of the deputies struck in a shooting south of Denver, and said the gunman was not in custody.
“Domestic Violence” was the dispatch, there is no news that I have seen on what really was going on. One twitter report had an ISIS flag flying, no other news at all (and I am suspicious of a lone tweet.)
I don’t know the answer to the first question. Regarding the second I think initially there was a lot of confusion and they didn’t know exactly what they were dealing with It wouldn’t be the first crazy to rig some explosives for police or swat entering the residence. They already had one dead officer and 4 others wounded
They are escorting the body to the morgue.The bomb squad has been there all along.
They do this from the hospital to the Cornors office.....
The motorcade procession is SOP in many places when a first responder dies in the line of duty. Not sure if the bomb squad was actually there or just the bomb squad truck, which doubles as an armored vehicle for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
My source who is at the crime scene said that in rapidly unfolding situations like this, the bomb squad, SWAT, and snipers are routinely deployed.
“Why are they holding a Motorcade to the fallen deputy the very same day?”
It’s just an organic happening as his body is taken from the hospital to the coroner’s office about 20 miles south.
