he probably didn’t take a polygraph at all. where are the results? why didn’t he take it before the election? the whole thing is suspicious

we blew it in the primary, plain and simple. we’ve got to be smarter moving forward.

Since he attested to the polygraph in a sworn affidavit I'd be inclined to believe him. Moore may have plenty of other flaws, but I don't think he'd go to those lengths by filing a false affidavit.

There were two things about the polygraph story that raise big red flags with me:

1. He didn't take it -- or mention it -- until after he had lost, when it would have been a very powerful statement to make before the election.

2. He filed the sworn affidavit in support of his legal challenge to stop the election results in Alabama from being certified. The legal basis of his challenge was a claim of voter fraud that affected the outcome of the election. His polygraph about the accusations that were made against him during the campaign had absolutely nothing to do with voter fraud.

Based on all of this, I think it's safe to say that this guy has always been just a loser and a malcontent who was probably completely unfit to serve in a legislative body where representatives have to compromise just to get anything done.
