Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts responded to President Donald Trump’s Thursday tweet, in which he questioned the concept of global warming, by announcing that she ‘believes in science’ — only to be questioned relentlessly on how exactly her scientific belief applies to issues like abortion or her supposed Native American ancestry.
Trump’s tweet, which seems to conflate weather and the broader environmental trends climate scientists attempt to model, reiterates his often repeated claim that international agreements designed to combat global warming, like the Paris accords, amount to a cynical attempt by foreign nations to drain U.S. resources.

If you point out that anything global (like the polar ice caps for instance) is not exhibiting the proper behavior, they’ll tell you just to go outside and feel how hot or cold or windy it is and how THAT matches their predictions.
If you point out how the local weather doesn’t match their doomsday scenarios, then all of a sudden they’ll jump all over how climate change is about a broader view than simpletons (i.e., you) look at.
Many if not most FR posters have unquestioningly accepted the PC definitions and usages of words. The acceptance of red for conservative and blue for communist was instant when the MSM decreed it.
Note the word "attempt."
And heaven only knows why anyone would confuse "weather" and "climate!"

Growing up, school said that science relies on provable replicatable results.
And I don’t know, I have never frozen to death by turning on my oven.
I also never broiled alive upon opening a freezer.
With the claims over CO2, you’d think something different would happen.
