When is Congress going to stop with the talk, talk, talk and, instead, turn to real hardball action? This is nothing more than a bunch of roosters in the barnyard fluffing their feathers, kicking dirt, and making noise. I want to see blood on the screen door. Nothing less will do.

Who requested the FISA warrants? Who authorized the warrants? Who carried out the survailance of candidate Trump and his campaign?

And WHO got the intelligence gathered from the ILLEGAL operation?

I pay taxes and I have a right to know.

Aside from Rudy, Is the claim that Trump can’t find anyone in the entire US that can handl the job as AG? My take is the set up has made Trump switch agenda(s). Trump is now taking the fight on his own. He is letting AG look bad because the AG is dirty. Liberals can’t really make any moves because that will trigger the Motherlode of Trumps Takedown. Trump is working on something. Sessions is doing nothing and doesn’t plan to do anything in the future.

If Rosenstein is effectively the Acting-AG as a result of Sessions’ recusal, then Trump needs to give Rosenstein a direct order: co-operate with and ensure that the DOJ and FBI comply with Congressional subpoena’s or you’re fired. Trump is expected to (and has been) cooperating with Mueller’s witch hunt. Surely the DOJ/FBI can cooperate with Congress.

By not ordering his subordinates to comply, Rabbit-face has made himself complicit - if he was not already.

There is considerable merit in your take on it. Sure there are others capable of doing the AG job, but Trump must be careful not to trigger an impeachment alliance between Dems and the numerous anti Trump Republicans in Congress. So Sessions stays.

"How long before they start endorsing candidates?"

McCabe's wife ran for statewide office as a democrat in Virginia and received a $467,000 'donation' from Terry McAuliffe (actually Hillary Clinton).

Is that not a tacit endorsement of McAuliffe and Clinton and every other dem candidate?

Who requested the FISA warrants?

Peter Strzok.

Who authorized the warrants?

Judge Rudolph Contreras

Who carried out the survailance of candidate Trump and his campaign?

FBI agents led by McCabe and Strzok.

Just a guess.

Hillary did say something like if we lose we’re also going to swing from the Gallows. One of the few things I trust that she is being truthful about.

Congress can issue subpoenas but they really have little power to enforce anything and must go through the Justice dept. The Constitution did not make the legislative branch responsible for enforcement for a reason. Just think of all the things a Pelosi or Schumer could do if they had police powers.

"Now, who got the intell.?"

Everybody in Obama's White House, everybody in the upper echelons of Hillary's campaign, the MSM, and the plotters in the FBI/DOJ cabal.

But, what they got, the Steele dossier, was really fake intel.

Now, you answer a question. Why are the people who conspired to overthrow the results of the last election (and overthrow a duly elected president) by manufacturing "evidence" still walking free?

“...The same apparently holds true for the DOJ since they could compel the FBI to provide the requested information....”

The DOJ would never have gotten into this predicament IF Sessions were still alive. /S

Good observations. Sessions would have made a decent AG during normal/ civil times. We are living in extraordinary times with a thoroughly politically corrupted DoJ and federal intelligence agencies. And Sessions is not up to the job. Other Freepers have observed that POTUS #45 DJT could not get a conservative AG nominee through the Senate Judiciary Committee process now. Hence, Trump will not fire/ request Sessions' resignation. As Donald Rumsfeld once said, "You go to war with the military you have."

That is the $64,000 question.

Maybe AG Sessions is taking a nap?
