A Drexel University professor who received death threats after posting several controversial tweets said Thursday he is resigning because the year-long harassment has made his situation "unsustainable."
George Ciccariello-Maher, a professor of politics and global studies, had been teaching his class remotely via video conference after being put on administrative leave, a move that Drexel said was for his own safety.

However, at a national level, Mexicans are more likely to be the majority in the US than blacks. This is why the Democrats are trying to promote politicians like Julian Castro. He and his allies have already displaced the gringos in the local governments of San Antonio and other towns in the southwest where Mexican nationals and Chicanos are the majority. Notice how the Tweets are sanitized as being merely “controversial”? If he had made the same comments about any other ethnic group, CNN would have called the Tweets “racist” and the professor would not have resigned, he’d have been fired or put on leave.
Good point. Those that allegedly threatened him should say that they were just doing so in the name of satire, then shouldn't all be forgiven? As a matter of fact, if someone does beat this guy within an inch of his life, that could be thought of a satire as well.
You see the same thing with media coverage of Antifa and BLM violence. When they attack people or property, rarely if ever are the words "hate" or "extremism" used. They're just good guys who are a little bit too enthusiastic about their righteous cause and who let their emotions get the better of them.

I was going to post something similar, with one caveat:
My mother, widowed after 50+ years, remarried and became hyphenated to honor both my father and their marriage as well as her new husband.
That’s about the only time I see hyphenation as a good thing.

Drexel is an elitist institution & it costs about $70,000 a year. People in PA could send their kids to Penn State for a lot less.
