Liberal elite magazine Vanity Fair says it is very sorry it offended its subscriber base by suggesting Hillary Clinton move on with life and take up new hobbies like knitting.
The suggestion, part of an online video poking fun at the failed presidential candidate, was greeted with outrage, disdain and near-hysteria from Vanity Fairs readership who immediately complained of sexism.
"It was an attempt at humor and we regret that it missed the mark," Beth Kseniak, a spokeswoman for Vanity Fair said Wednesday. The video can still be found on Twitter.
Clinton supporters were so angry over incident that they created a #CancelVanityFair hashtag on social media.

In fairness to the Libtard rag ... the old witch really does need to take up a new hobby besides drinking, throwing things at Bubba, stealing money, whining about her election loss, and whatever else she's getting ready to do in the above photo!
Cowards!
I think that is solid advice and would be welcomed by a growing number of Democrat rank and file voters.
It was funny. Humor is supposed to be funny. Therefore, , it did not miss the mark.
How come Vanity Fair can be forgiven but men who admire a woman must be fired?
Nothing wrong with knitting. I wish I knew how. Now VF is insulting those who love to knit.
It’s okay, as part of their apology, they promised to name her “World’s Most Accomplished Woman” for the next ten years.
No kidding, proving once again liberals have no connection to ordinary Americans. I love to knit and I’m real good at it. Mr. RightField says I knit so I won’t kill people. He may be right.
lol
How bout breaking larger rocks into smaller rocks?
Or equally productive stamping out license plates?
Learning a trade in shop classes?
Really they should have said ‘in the kitchen baking cookies for the grandkids’, that’d have really torqued her.
Or, sorting used underwear for tax deductions...
Knitting would never work as a hobby for Hillary. You cannot lie your way through knitting, you actually have to do something.
This was hilarious - the Hillbots have become a cult.
As a knitter I am offended. Just ordered stuff to make a sweater yesterday.
It is insulting to apologize for that! Is knitting a bad thing? Worked on a baby sock earlier today...
What it really boils down to is Kseniak wants to live to see next Kwanzaa.
Knitting needles can be dangerous in certain hands.
But... ... those needles...
...they’re so sharp and pointy...
...it’s still got to be a temptation...
