Let's hope for enough good non-GOPe pickups in 2018 to really start draining the swamp.

I must admit that McTurtle surprised me working to get the judicial appointments through and tax reform.

I still don’t trust the GOPe, but even they are capable of getting on the Trump train occasionally.

11. Using the CFPB under Mulvaney to deconstruct various federal rouge agencies

(From Wikipedia)....A 2013 press release from the United States House Financial Services Committee criticized the CFPB for what was described as a “radical structure” that “is controlled by a single individual who cannot be fired for poor performance and who exercises sole control over the agency, its hiring and its budget.” Moreover, the committee alleged a lack of financial transparency and a lack of accountability to Congress or the President

The writer hits on the top legislative accomplishments, but a bigly amount of air cover came from Trump's masterful handling of the media.

Trump hadn't even taken the oath when we saw this stunning take-down:

From there, it only got better. In fact, it got downright breathtaking when the 4chan people published the names and addresses and phone numbers of CNN personnel after the CNN wrestling gif. I believe at that moment, the media heard footsteps and got alligator arms.

Again, I am not denying the legislative successes. But without the Administration's masterful navigation of the media minefield, we may not have gotten as much as we got.

I’ve been amazed at the insane hostility to Trump from the MSM. Worse than how they treated Nixon.

Yet he always goes straight to the people via Twitter. Trump controls the conversation. He controls his access to his voters. Political genius.

He does a lot of “trolling” as well - inflammatory remarks he knows the MSM will have to cover that takes the conversation back to his strong talking points. The MSM (and their party, the Democrats) are forced to defend political losers like sanctuary cities or the NFL kneelers.

There’s only so much outrage possible. Trump has them chasing rabbits like the “NFL controversy” (80-90% of the public agrees with Trump on that topic) and they don’t have the airtime to talk about his judicial picks or the massive rollback of federal regulations.

TC,

Trump takes trolling to a new level. O’dumbass thought he was good at it.

Trump will put these idiots right over the edge.

10. Kicking NBC in the pussy.

That should be "in the wherever," this being a family site.

Your last paragraph is what I love about the whole thing - the MSM all think they are the smartest ones in the room, but they’re more like a cat chasing a laser pointer, day after day; it’s stunning that they don’t see it.
Then Melania helps out occasionally by egregious things like wearing stilettos or cutting down a dangerous tree.

14. Donald Trump tweets directly to the American people. He avoids the mainstream media completely.

Good post articulates what the media is spiking without requiring reader to go to link. FR’s should copy and email this out to the talkies and to friends and neighbors.

12. Executive Order (12/21/17) Blocking the Property of Persons Involved in Human Rights Abuse or Corruption

I disagree. Once the Left gets back in power, they will gleefully abuse this tool, and be extra "flexible" in their interpretation of the term "corruption"... and anything that fails to worship the LGBTQ community or illegals or other categories of the "Special People" would clearly be declared a "Human Rights Abuse". If we wouldn't like it under Hillary or Obama, we should not relish it under Trump.

I thought that there were other judges that McConnell wasn’t allowing to go to vote?
