The Coalinga city council is suing Fresno County to overturn an election decided partly by the sex offenders in a state hospital.
Voters rejected a penny sales tax increase by just 37 votes in November. 127 of those 'no' votes came from inside the walls of Coalinga State Hospital, where some of the state's sex offenders are actually legal voters.

Of course you can’t be sure how the sex offenders voted...but my guess is that they,like most criminals,vote in favor of tax increases.
Well, democrats want to give everyone a voice. And they have. It seems the Democrat Party has taken in every lunatic fringe group, and often those groups oppose each other and have opposite agendas. How do you keep the lunatics from killing each other?
Hang on...just re-read this...how do they know that 127 sex offenders voted “no”? What happened to secret ballots?
Inmates running the asylum is a real thing.
It probably has its own precinct and voting booth. So they know how many votes came from the place - not necessarily which voters just the raw numbers.

The state hospital is its own precinct. Election results are available at the precinct level.

Isn’t CA the state where they can put you in mental lock-up if a person claiming to be your relative is afraid you might try to kill yourself? How many of THOSE people voted NO?
