"He's already done enough to get my vote again, without a doubt, no question," Wes Lewis, a retired pipefitter and one of Whitt's regulars, declares as he deals the day's first hand of cards.
He thinks the mines and the factories will soon roar back to life, and if they don't, he believes they would have if Democrats and Republicans and the media all "crooked as a barrel of fishhooks" had gotten out of the way. What Lewis has now that he didn't have before Trump is a belief that his president is pulling for people like him.
"One thing I hear in here a lot is that nobody's gonna push him into a corner," says Whitt, 35. "He's a fighter. I think they like the bluntness of it."

That’s what rallies are for. He’s fine.
I will NEVER vote for an islamist democrat.
Hes done an incredible job in face of vicious, childish words and conduct by the mentally ill left.
"I've seen people in NW Florida with permanent Trump signs in their yards. I mean nice (professional looking) signs, some with landscaping and lighting.(Albeit rural areas)"
WOLVERINE!!!
Well said! That's it in a nutshell, especially the recycled political scrap.
“Despite the president’s dismal approval ratings and lethargic legislative achievements”
What about his impending impeachment and consecutive life sentences for his whole entire family? Brian Ross said it will happen by New Years.
>> God Bless Donald Trump, Frank Sinatra, Joan Rivers, and the Fightin’ Rat Pack Wing of the GOP
Great tag.
I’ve said for a while it would help if he had someone that can gather stories of interest - maybe areas where he can intervene and make a difference and also comments from his supporters from a variety of outlets and present those to him. On a final note, I still suggest he has someone that compiles a running list of all the fake news and Tweets out every example.
What Galafaro is missing about this “lethargic legislative progress” is that it is an obvious result of the fanatical resistance on the part of the media and rest of the ruling class and that Trump’s followers, being neither of which themselves, are perfectly aware of it. In other words, it really doesn’t bother us if Colbert and Schumer and McCain don’t like The Donald. In fact, it’s just fine.
Um, Pinkbell, I think you’ve just described Free Republic.
Thanks.
Don’t know why people never talk about the traits of these famous Vegas Republicans (you can add Wayne Newton and plenty of others). They live Liberal lifestyles, and can be profane. But they make up for it in patriotism, and a willingness to jump in the ring and brawl with Commie hippies.
They’re really the only ones who have the ability to take on the Liberal Pop Culture Industrial Complex. Star power, balls, and a big mouth are all needed to expose and slay the MSM/Hollywood/Academia dragon. Certainly not the likes of Mitt Romney.
