Allegations that FBI and Justice Department officials worked against President Donald Trumps election are no longer flickering at the fringes of political debate and are suddenly center stage, thanks to conservative activists such as Judicial Watchs president Tom Fitton, according to a recent report by the Washington Post. From the Post:
Until recently, it has been a lonely battle, said Tom Fitton, whose conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch has helped drive the charges by unearthing internal Justice Department documents. Our concerns about Mueller are beginning to take hold.
Fittons Judicial Watch group, too, has a long history of investigating the Clintons, having filed numerous lawsuits against the administration of President Bill Clinton. During the 2016 campaign, the organization obtained thousands of emails written by Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state.
This year, Judicial Watch has helped stoke the attacks against the Mueller probe with material it obtained through lawsuits and Freedom of Information Act requests. The nonprofit group, which has a $35 million budget and 50 employees, does not release the names of its approximately 500,000 donors, Fitton said.

The FBI is being exposed as one of the most corrupt agencies in our govt.
The FBI has been thoroughly tainted by the politics of the DOJ at large.
It has only been at the “fringe” because the Fake Media has refused to cover it & instead has been pushing a lie 24/7 for the last 18 months.
If it hadn’t been for Judicial Watch, Sara Carter, John Solomon, Gregg Jarrett , Sean Hannity & Lou Dobbs, there wouldn’t have even been a fringe.
I support Judicial Watch often. They are a great organization and Tom Fitton is an American hero.
Judicial Watch has long been doing the work Republicans refuse to do.
I love reading headlines because they often put in adverbs and adjectives that give away their biases.
No longer?
Among Trump's supporters "Muh Russia" has been at the center of the political debate from the moment it first surfaced. But of course the voting block of deplorables who elected a President are a "fringe" group. They live in the rest of the country - west of the Hudson and west of the Appalachians - and that makes them out on the fringe, the wild frontier where civilized people fear to tread out there where folks have guns and bibles and cling to them.
I bet it really upsets the people at WaPo the thought of these groups being around during the Watergate story. Likely, Woodward and Bernstein and others would not have gotten away with what they did to try to take down Nixon.
Judicial Watch does great work. That means that next time the Dems control the apparatus of government, they will be made public enemy #1.
Donald trump through his minion Sessions has been shepherding this right along. Mueller thought he was aiming at a certain goal and found too late that his target had been switched.
This happens when the left-wing fringe can’t keep the truth hidden.
Let’s hope they fail to keep more “hidden” that lots of us already know about.
I've been reading this for months & I tend to believe it. I hope you are correct. I am ready for the hammer to drop or the storm to come full force. I am so sick & tired of all of this Special Council BS & the sniping from those who should be locked up & the rest of the media.
Draining the swamp is taking longer than I would like. But I guess good things come to those who wait.
I’m in South America where if one side doesn’t win, they take to the streets and riot and where you can’t always trust the law enforcement authorities not to take sides. Starting to sound familiar, sadly, isn’t it? If what happened at the FBI/CIA/Justice is what we think happened, and there was a fraud on the FISA court among many other shenanigans using federal officials and our tax money, then there need to be some very long prison sentences handed out as examples.
Just think, if Clinton had won, NONE of this would have come to light, it all would have been covered up, and remained that way.
Trump has managed to flush out of hiding a vast amount of corruption and collusion of all types.
Unfortunately, appearing as news in the Compost is practically diagnostic of being fringe cuckoo conspiracy bull****. Thanks davikkm.
I have been approached by middle of the road people recently who now realize that the whole Russia story was a big scam.
In other words, “We can no longer take the heat because defending Deep State is destroying what little credibility we have left.”
Prepare to see some significant influence peddlers thrown under the bus.
Deep State, Obama, and the Clintons have never been particularly loyal to their supporters.
Podesta did not know if Seth Rich was the source of their server leaks, but he apparently considered Rich being disposed of as necessary, just to be sure.
Rich was no conservative or even GOPe. He probably just of sick of seeing things like Bernie Sander’s supporters getting disenfranchised by the criminal political machine. And that could not be tolerated.
It all started here:
The White House FBI files controversy of the Clinton Administration, often referred to as Filegate, arose in June 1996 around improper access in 1993 and 1994 to FBI security-clearance documents.
Craig Livingstone, director of the White House’s Office of Personnel Security, improperly requested, and received from the FBI, background reports concerning several hundred individuals without asking permission.
The revelations provoked a strong political and press reaction because many of the files covered White House employees from previous Republican administrations, including top presidential advisors. Under criticism, Livingstone resigned from his position.
Allegations were made that senior White House figures, including First Lady Hillary Clinton, may have requested and read the files for political purposes, and that the First Lady had authorized the hiring of the under-qualified Livingstone.
