Donald Trump train station in the Old City of Jerusalem?

Will the name of America’s 45th president become a permanent fixture in the Old City of Jerusalem?

According to a report by the Hebrew daily Yediot Ahronot on Wednesday, Israel Railways, Israel’s national train operator, is planning on naming the last stop in Jerusalem for its new train line after President Donald Trump, in honor of his historic December 6th recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city.

The station will be the final stop on the Tel Aviv to Jerusalem train line, which is slated to open next spring. The new train line, which will operate alongside the city’s light rail system, will include a three-kilometer tunnel (1.9 miles), linking the Binyanei Haumah convention center near the Central Bus Station to the entrance of the Old City of Jerusalem.

Last year, however, Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud), proposed an extension of the high-speed train line, adding another stop near the Western Wall on the southeast side of the Old City.

A steering committee for Israel Railways has approved the proposal, and is reportedly planning on naming the new station the “Donald John Trump Train Station”.

The new station will be built 52 meters (171 feet) below ground, like a similar station planned for central Jerusalem, near the intersection of Jaffa and King George streets.

The train will include a special VIP passenger car, for transporting foreign dignitaries...

It would be nice too if they name Jerusalem’s municipal waste dump “Barack Hussein Obama Landfill”

Build two shacks on it, and watch who condemns a new “settlement”.

The station will be the final stop on the Tel Aviv to Jerusalem train line...

From another article:

The station close to the holiest site where Jews are permitted to pray will be called "Donald John Trump", the minister ordered, in tribute to his "historic and courageous decision" on Jerusalem.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/12/27/israel-name-new-jerusalem-train-station-donald-trump/

The final stop, right to the Kotel, is to be named "Trump". Trump. Here is Divine comedy on full display.

Might as well open that station on Purim (four-year project, 2022). They could merge the celebration with St. Patriarch's er St. Patrick's Day. Patriarch *is* the meaning of the name Patrick, after all. Purim + Shushan Purim. People would certainly be drinking.

Our Sages teach that when the Messiah arrives the festivals will cease to be observed, but Purim will continue to be observed. The Midrash (Mishlei 9) derives this unusual conclusion from a statement in Megillat Esther, (9:28) “the memory of Purim will never cease from among their descendants.” Why should a relatively minor festival be observed forever while the basic and more significant festivals will no longer be needed?

Purim is Forever

The underlying meaning of v’nahafoch hu is that what initially is perceived as a cause is really an effect, and what seems to be an effect is really the cause.

>>>

“And all the servants of the king that were stationed at the gate of the king would kneel and bow to Haman…and Mordechai would not kneel and he would not bow (3:2).” It is clear from the pasuk that this requirement for everyone to bow to Haman was only for those stationed b’shaar hamelech, by the king’s palace, and not in all 127 countries under the dominion of Achashverosh. As such, had Mordechai not been at the shaar hamelech, the events of Purim would never have taken place! And what brought Mordechai to find himself daily at the gate of the king’s palace? Esther! Because Esther was in the palace, Mordechai frequented there to keep as much of an eye on her as possible. It emerges, then, that v’nahafoch hu: the refuah of Esther being in the palace was itself what caused the makah!

Purim: V’nahafoch Hu

The route will run close to — but not directly under — the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where tradition holds that Jesus was crucified and buried, and a contested holy site known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary. Previous excavations by Israel near the holy site — the spiritual epicenter of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — have sparked violent Palestinian protests.

Because of those sensitivities, the proposal will likely meet with heavy resistance from the Palestinians, neighboring Arab countries and the international community.

Israel minister plans Trump train station at Western Wall

You ever notice that venahafoch hu (ונהפוך הוא), the Purim phrase from Esther 9:1 that encapsulates the concept of the 180 degree turn about - has a value of 179? Flip the Purim story over again and it completes the circle, 358.

Our Sages teach that when the Messiah arrives the festivals will cease to be observed, but Purim will continue to be observed.

It's the trump effect.

That’s interesting but they forgot to read Zechariah .
All nations one day will be required to keep Sukkot .

Zechariah 14:16
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

(Zechariah 14:17) And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

(Zechariah 14:18) And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

(Zechariah 14:19) This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

That's most everyone *except* the Jews. Which is intriguing because much is documented in the Bible about the Northern Kingdom coming against Judah, Jerusalem.

The holiday is a remembrance of God's preserving the whole House of Israel for 40 years in the wilderness. What do the outside nations have to do with that one.

Unless of course the Northern tribes were dispersed in those nations, supposedly left for dead and forgotten.

Kept and preserved all this time, actually. If 40 years was worth an annual week-long reminder of God's providential care, how much time should be devoted in order to honor and reflect upon 2700 + 40 years.

Joseph (the provider) is still alive, and governor over all of Egypt. Kind of like the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the son of man is lord also of the Sabbath.

Jeremiah 23

5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

It's a large ingathering. The holidays are all interconnected around the clock. Purim *is* the flipped over story, the holiday of paradigm shifts. Think Alpha and Omega.
