War with North Korea can be avoided if the Trump administration uses sanctions modeled after President Barack Obama's much-excoriated Iran deal and if everyone just avoids "irresponsible" war predictions that risk "millions of lives," Ohio's Republican Governor John Kasich wrote on Monday.
Kasich—who battled Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination last year—outlined a plan for stronger U.S. sanctions against North Korea in an opinion column in The Washington Post published Monday evening. He slammed Republican Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina and other politicians for "predicting odds on the probability of war" against North Korea when there is still time to negotiate.
Kasich even touched the third rail of Republican politics in the bid to be the conscience of the party, praising Obama's ability to bring Iran to the table for nuclear negotiations with harsh sanctions.

Nah. Said earlier: If Kaysuck’s goal in issuing this statement is to make sure America is hit as hard as possible with North Korean nuclear weapons, then this would be a sensible position.

Kasich is a joke, as are the many establishment Republicans aligned with him. These milk-sops need to understand that their time is over. The liberals despise them, and they’ve betrayed conservatives far too many times to ever be taken seriously by them again. They are in no-mans land, though they don’t seem to realize it.

Governor John, thank you for reminding me that it is quarter till 5 PM Central Time which means it is time to shovel out the cats’ box.
The more I hear from John Kasich, the more I’m convinced that he has gone full-liberal.
All I want for Christmas is to have some one beat Kaysuck with a shovel.
