When I was young, we had this board game about the electoral college. At that time, NYS had 41 electoral votes, based on population as you know.
Today, some 50 years later, NYS has only 23.
If that is not a report card on the health of a state, I don't know what is.
Hasta La Vista New York.

They are coming to SC.
Just on the other side of Charlotte, my not so little hometown has housing developments going up and up.
My best friends are about to get a couple hundred new neighbors.
The roads can barely support what is going on now.
My dad knows one of the realtors. All of the buyers are northern types and there are waiting lists.

The great thing about Alaska is that even the most leftist morons will mostly leave you alone to do your own thing.
There is little to no pretension about how you are supposed to live. Of course SJWs infect everything and colleges are full of them.

The full article listed Illinois, California, New York, and Connecticut as 4 Democrat states who are losing residents to other states.
In most cases the people leaving Illinois, California, New York, and Connecticut are people who have wealth.
Since Illinois, California, New York, and Connecticut have very liberal welfare programs, they are attracting the never-do-wells to replace the wealthy people who are leaving.
Certainly this is not a sign of future success for Illinois, California, New York, and Connecticut.

Rell is ow in Florida? Here, in Florida, I'm considered a moderate, while in Connecticut I was an extreme conservative. 😀 Rell must be considered as an extreme liberal here.
In 1994, I was campaigning for Tom Scott since he was the only one who said he would get rid of the income tax. I wonder if Connecticut would be booming if Tom got elected.

The jerk from Connecticut first Congressional district (John Larson) I know. One year, before I moved to Florida, I bumped into him at the local Shop-Rite. I talked to him about a bill and I said it would be bad for business and he agreed with me, but he voted for the bill that he said is bad.
The Larson's are called East Hartford's Kennedy family. Arrogant jerks...

They are coming to SC.
I am a little south of Greenville SC and in my neighborhood in the past year we have two new families from Kansas (mostly conservative), one from CA (dont know yet), one from Michigan (libs), one Atlanta (dont know yet), one Canada (libs), and two from local (both conservatives). That is what is happening in SC.

In the last 60 years, NY has lost almost half its House seats, seats in the chamber with the power of the purse. Upstate is becoming a ghost town. Foreclosures for back taxes are up.
Run, Andy, run!

This is old data but I read elsewhere that about 1/2 of the Texans are landing in Wayne county and coming from Travis county in Texas? Mean anything?

In addition to a lot of crooked politicians and illegal aliens, CA has a lot of smart people and high tech businesses. And in some areas the climate is terrific.

And people wonder why Texas is slowly turning blue. Entirely too many refugees from Cali and Yankee land. And then there are all the illegals voting D too. Right now if a so and so R was up against a popular D I would not be surprised if the D won. Used to be Houston and Harris county voted R now all the big cities in Texas are reliable D votes.

Northern Michigan is currently getting an influx of Texans...odd. Were pretty redneck but average 130 inches of snow yearly. Hope you get out soon.
The summer in the UP is absolutely God's weather. I want a farm along 117, and a cottage along Lake Superior. The winter? Two years ago January 4th, I took my kid back to Houghton, and it was an ice road from Mackinaw all the way to Houghton with rain and sleet mixed in.

Wayne county? Any money they're black and running from latino gangs. Wayne county is (or probably is) Michigan's darkest county, a welfare haven, and includes Detroit.

You assume all those leaving states that are very liberal...with all the things that go with that... are liberal themselves. The exodus from CA to NV has almost flipped that state.
CO and NM have flipped...though that may be more to immigration.
The exodus from DC to VA has flipped that state.
NC is a swing state.
FL is a swing state.
GA could be a swing state. The metro ATL area is growing leaps and bounds.

They are looking at adding on a fee per mile driven to boot One wonders how they could enforce that. Check your mileage at the annual safety inspection? I would disconnect the speedometer. What about for miles driven out of state? That leaves them with transponders like EZ Pass or similar practically everywhere and the readers, or cameras everywhere to photograph your plate number.
