You’re reaching. Trump decided that America will sell Javelin missiles to Ukraine so they can protect themselves. That is exactly what Obama blocked, but you illogical people will still say it is Obama policy.
So you are saying that Russia should give up claims to any areas within its borders that are not ethnic Russian? The Chechnians will certainly be happy to hear that.
Russians don’t see it like that. They believe Russians are destined to rule the whole world. They have their jihad quite similar to muslaic jihad.
Multi-ethic empires are always more trouble than they’re worth. Chechnya is a prime example of that. Chechnya is also pretty close to independent as it is, but it’s a point of pride for Russia that she’s officially part of Russia, so that status isn’t changing anytime soon.
Russia certainly would be better off without Chechnya.
