U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley will hold a reception for the ambassadors of countries who did not support a U.N. General Assembly vote condemning the U.S. for its recognition of Jerusalem as Israels capital.
The invitation to the Jan. 3 reception, a copy of which was obtained by Breitbart News, was sent to the 65 countries who either rejected, abstained from, or declined to vote on the resolution that censured the U.S. for President Trumps decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
The Honorable Nikki R. Haley invites you to a reception to thank you for your friendship to the United States, the invite for the Jan. 3 reception says.
The nonbinding resolution, which passed 128-9, expressed deep regret at the call made by President Trump, and calls on all States to refrain from the establishment of diplomatic missions in the Holy City of Jerusalem. 35 countries abstained and 21 countries did not turn up to vote.
The resolution was sponsored by Turkey and Yemen and came days after the U.S. vetoed a similar resolution at the Security Council. Haley took to the General Assembly floor to blast the U.N. over the vote and to warn countries that the vote will be remembered.
We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the worlds largest contribution to the United Nations and we will remember it when so many countries come calling on us, as they so often do, to pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit, she warned.
President Trump on Wednesday warned that the U.S intended to pull money from nations that take our money and vote against us.

Trump should move on to America only.
What did Matthews the Fruit say “I love this storm!”?
Well I LOVE this administration :)
What I think we are seeing is politicians and business folk (Trump) who had to feign at least a LITTLE bit of a moderate political position to survive and thrive in certain areas.
Now they can throw all that #### out the window and be Exactly who they are.
I know. I had to play that game on a few interviews in NYC
But once hired, the guns came out :)
Imagine that, the USA throwing its weight around. I am so very thankful for president Trump .
Interesting
Just sayin' ....
I had my reservations about Nikki Haley. Not anymore. She seems to carry out President Trump's marching orders very well. Strong woman, good backbone. She's a keeper by all appearances.
Its a misleading headline. These countries did NOT support a resolution against the USA.
She's going to twist some arms and lay out for them exactly what their votes meant. Good for her. I hope she makes it crystal clear they get no more money, food, or any type of support from the US going forward unless they change their position immediately.
IMO that's exactly what she should be doing and I suspect that's what's going to happen.
It would be funny if the reception included a bouncer at the door and a cover charge.........LOL!
The bad guys will be sitting at home like a fat girl on prom night.
Unless I misunderstood the article. In which case, I'm retarded.
We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the worlds largest contribution to the United Nations and we will remember it when so many countries come calling on us, as they so often do, to pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit, she warned
excellent!
The headline says they snubbed the U.N. resolution, not supported. This invitation is for those who snubbed the U.N. resolution, effectively supporting the U.S.A. She is not going to punish them for supporting us.
This reception is for the diplomats that snubbed the UN...not the U.S.
Yes, she seems to have a better understanding of who shes supposed to represent, than she had when she was governor of SC.
You’re not retarded, I am.......LOL!
The man fights for America in a way no President since Washington has done.
God bless you Mr President
Nikki Haley has been a pleasant surprise to me.
(heavy sigh ...)
Clearly it's time for cup of coffee #3. Thanks for the correction.
