Despite Roy Moores shocking loss to Doug Jones in the Alabama special election for its vacated U.S. Senate seat, one of the Republicans chief backers, Steve Bannon is pressing on. A former executive for Donald Trumps presidential campaign turned White House chief strategist, Bannon returned to his post at Breitbartafter the president fired him in August. Since then, the eccentric conservative figure has floated plenty of praise and criticism for his former employer, the remaining members of his White House administration, and just about everyone else on the American political spectrum.
According to Vanity Fairs Gabriel Sherman, Bannon is also toying with the idea of a possible presidential run in 2020. I realize in hindsight I was just a staffer, and Im not a good staffer. I had influence, I had a lot of influence, but just influence, he said of his time working for Trump. I have power. I can actually drive things in a certain direction. Hence, per Shermans reporting, Bannons possible presidential ambitions:

Will he leak on his own campaign? Inquiring minds want to know...
Okay, that's two votes.
Bannon 2024!!!
If it benefits his campaign, he would be a fool not to.
I know for sure he will "leak" on the democrats.
(See tagline for further details)
Delusional. I have watched “Bannon’s War” twice on PBS and I think I understand Bannon’s history and role.
I do not see this as realistic.
But if it makes him bathe and get his hair cut, at least that's something.
I think we have found the problem.....
He’s still working for Trump behind the scene. He runs and makes Trump look like a centrist. When 2020 comes around, the ‘America first’ agenda by this administration will have worked out well, and more people will vote for Trump.
He needs a make-over! LOL
Seriously. His haberdasher is GoodWill, or so it seems. If you rolled out of bed, your senior year of college, you could get away with that look ... but really he needs some style help.
LOL!
Welp, gotta start somewhere.
I’m not very big on Pence, or anyone else from the GOP.
I am voting for Trump!
Jones had GOTV. Moore did not have GOTV. That is why he lost, plain and simple. Off year, normally low turnout in special election. GOTV wins.
A rerun of Virginia where Dems had GOTV and Republicans did not.
A rerun of Atlanta mayor where the Republican candidate did not get out the vote in the area where she got 84% of the few to did show up.
Someone let the journalists into the hallucinogens again!
Well, Laz, he better learn to shave, lol.
For certain Bannon messing with the MSM.
Didn’t check the calendar......is it April 1st already?
I’m still of the opinion that Steve Bannon is to Donald Trump what Karl Rove was to Shrub.
We found out that Rove was a typical not-to-be-trusted RINO. And I believe we will see - sooner or later - that Bannon will show his true colors also.
Steve Bannon is no Trump. Trump was a successful CEO with accomplishments and broad name recognition. Bannon is just a political idealogue no one has ever heard of except people in the Beltway and people that live on Free Republic. I still wish he would run. He would go nowhere but would be helpful in getting conservative ideas articulated.
Iam buying papertowels lots and lots of paper towels have to soak up the Libbys Gray matter when their heads explode. Gee this is goin to be FUN.
Trump changed everything with regard to presidential politics. After four years (or even eight) of President Trump, will anybody want to go back to electing stuffed shirt politicians as our president? I don't think so.
We are going to see some very unusual candidates run for office in the years ahead. And some of them will get elected. And I assume some of them will be good people.
