White House press secretary Sarah Sanders had some fun with NBC reporters who questioned her on the tax plan and the government funding agreement. Hopefully youre one of the NBC reporters thats getting one of those bonuses, Sanders quipped to NBC White House reporter Kristen Welker on Thursday after a group of reporters asked her questions on the White House driveway.
Not yet, Welker replied.
Comcast announced on Wednesday that their employees, which includes MSNBC, CNBC, and NBC, would get a $1,000 bonus after the tax plan passed.
The statement from Comcast read:
Based on the passage of tax reform and the FCCs action on broadband, Brian L. Roberts, Chairman and CEO of Comcast NBCUniversal, announced that the Company would award special $1,000 bonuses to more than one hundred thousand eligible frontline and non-executive employees. Roberts also announced that the Company expects to spend well in excess of $50 billion over the next five years investing in infrastructure to radically improve and extend our broadband plant and capacity, and our television, film and theme park offerings. With these investments, we expect to add thousands of new direct and indirect jobs. We will have more to say on capital at our upcoming January 24th earnings report.

Nowhere in this fake news article does it cite any Apple source saying that they are returning this money. The article only says they COULD return the money. In other words its more Gateway Pundit BS Fake News.
Excellent points. Thanks for sharing.

Someone needs to check Sarah, I swear she has a horse-shoe hidden inside her velvet boxing gloves! :D
that HAD to leave a mark!
“Marxists have reached a level of confidence where they actually believe they have the support of the people. They are convinced of their domination in spite of the election of DJT and the loss of 1000 seats nation wide.”
That only means they are comfortable with cheating and are once again phoning it in.
“Shhhhhhhhhh....were hunting wabbits.....”
Wibberals...we’re hunting wibberals.
Im shocked that the reporterette didnt add And if I do get a tax law-related bonus, Ill contribute it to our government with my income tax!

They believe their resistance to Trump is the same as the Tea Party, and will yield the same results. They believe the tax reduction law is the same as Obamacare because their polls say it is unpopular. They think they will win huge in midterm elections like we did as a result. In other words, they believe their own lies.
The Demonicrats have terminal TDS. It has rotted the few synapses left in their heads. From now on, expect hull-crushing depths of berserk behavior from the Demonicrats and the fifth-column leftist media.
Both are rodents, right?
:-)
So if that is true then all of these bonuses these corporations are giving to their employees is really just a scam between them and the IRS to raise your income into a higher tax bracket so the feds cab stick it to you!
What I would pay to see...Sarah Huckabee Sanders brings in like 25 copies of an IRS form allowing for voluntary paying extra taxes and put the WH press core to the test of paying more, and telling them they can take extra copies for their friends...and tell them if they get an evil bonus to pay it to the IRS to help us pay down Obama’s and Bush’s debt.
NBC reporters and other anti Trump functionaries should refuse the $1,000 bonuses.
Betcha they don’t.
When I was living up in Massachusetts, a Republican governor a few years back rolled back the state tax rate. I think it was lowered from 5.85% to 5.1%.
Predictably, all the liberal Democrats howled and told us how the women and children would suffer due to this cruelty and the cold-heartedness of conservatives.
So the governor (I'm thinking it was Paul Celucci) had an option on the state tax form to check off the original 5.85% - for those who elected to pay the higher tax rate.
Guess what...out of millions of tax returns filed, only 17 people checked off the box!
