Listen, I like Cruz. I also like Trump. However they are both human beings and, as such, have flaws, as we all do. No one is perfect. People can make bad choices and do so. Even if we like and support them.
Radical LGBT Activist Chai Feldblum Renominated to EEOC
Feldblum has been renominated for an EEOC slot as part of a package deal, and those who know Feldblum best are saying that Republicans have been hoodwinked into renominating her.
Some Republicans, apparently including some inside the White House, think it’s fine to put an activist radical on the EEOC in order to get two more Republicans confirmed to the EEOC.
But Feldblum is no ordinary radical. As one lawyer familiar with EEOC practice tells me, “she’s worth three Republicans” because of her radicalism and willingness to fight to transform notions of gender, family, and life.
Have these people EVER not pushed their agenda when in a position to do so?

It's "news" because it's not "Breaking News" but is something that is important, that is happening on the sly, that the MSM would NEVER bring to light, but ought to be brought out into the wide open sunshine.

Yes, it also IS a blog post. POWERLINE is a blog, and not an unknown. It also happens that the blog author has been tracking this person and her appointment, has written more on her than just this, and is trying to do the right thing, here, and blow the whistle on this bogus appointment, and that story could benefit from a few thousand more watts of amplification to get really heard.
Conservatives should know this is happening inside the Trump Administration. He either knows and thinks he's getting a worthwhile quid pro quo, or he doesn't know, and this is a move brokered by The Swamp behind his back.
Since FR is a natural forum for rallying opposition to an appointment like this, posting the article here makes totally natural sense.

Let me explain things. If any other Republican on that Stage was chosen as the Nominee, you would be talking about what President Hillary Clinton did today to destroy the Republic. We would have no idea of the deep corruption in our Government. It would have been swept under the rug never to be seen again.
POTUS Trump isn’t perfect and he certainly is not an Ideologue in the vain of POTUS Ronaldus Maximus, but he was and is the only hope we have to slow the steady march of Marxist Progressivism.

So along with the Democrats Obama appointed, he also nominated a few Republicans.
The uproar now is because Chai Feldblum is more of an activist, rather than a moderate who would be more acceptable to Republicans.
Maybe the president thought he was reappointing Tovah Feldshuh from The Walking Dead.
I just went to the “ Contact the White House” website and it is all changed..there is no link to contact the President. Anyone else have one that is working?
I have contacted this President every week since he became our President...mostly with PRAiSE!.....but I want to express my disappointment in this nomination!!
