What I also completely disagree with is the debate that his sentence was an equivalent to a life sentence due to his age. So what? Does that make every 55 year old “eligible” to commit fraud etc.. and receive a slap on the hand vs a 30 year old that did the same crime? If his crime cost the banks 26 million... who “paid” for that? I’m assuming we did... maybe more to this case but IMHO if there isn’t... I’m not agreeing to the decision.
The judge, an obvious anti-Semitic handed down a 27 year sentence. He served eight years. Fraudsters have gotten far less for more egregious cases. Yahoo has the story twisted and the comments are sickening. There’s a lot of Trump hate out there.
I don’t see the reason for the commutation. If we’re against 400 illegal immigrants and bank fraud...
There is no question of guilt there.
In my eyes, not the law, the man is a modern day slave owner, human trafficker, and child labor violations.
Just because he is a Jew doesn’t make him Holy if he lives in sin and crime.
