Here’s the deal Will, because you took something and your shoulder got better does not prove cause and effect. I ruptured a disc in my lower back many years ago when struggling with a coupler on a tractor disc, took a few ibuprofen for a time and slept on the floor for a week or so. It eventually cleared up but the ibuprofen had little effect and it certainly wasn’t curative. i hope your bursitis gets better but aging is not a friendly foe.

Lemme get this straight. You ruptured a disc in your back and sleeping on the floor and taking ibuprofen it “cleared up” in a week or so? You either
1. didn’t have a ruptured disc.
2. found a miracle cure for ruptured discs.
I think you meant to say you had a herniated disc. Those can heal.
A ruptured disc can heal like a popped balloon can re-inflate.
