As Guy wrote, this tax reform bill, the most extensive in 30 years, is a tax cut for the middle class. It will create a better job creating and investing climate. Even The Washington Post noted that for 80 percent of Americans, theyre getting a tax cut, contrary to the Democratic warnings that this is Armageddon. Right now, theyre confident that this bill will sink Republicans in the midterms. They see the polling. Yeah, its bad, but it can only get betterand were still many, many months away from the midterm elections. A lot can happen in the interim. So, what will Democrats do when this bill becomes more popular, when Americans see relief, when they see bigger paychecks, when they see, as CNNs John King noted, more factory workers being hired? Not a single Democrat voted for this reformnot one. With this bill slated to become law, that means the Democratic Party is against tax relief for working class families, against economic growth, and didnt understand what a couple hundred dollars in relief means to a working class family. Itll show that their only economic agenda is tax and spend. Again, not too shocking since the Democrats are moving away from the centrist triangulation strategy of the Clinton era. Theyre returning to the left wing. Yet, the GOP knows how much is riding on this bill and its success, which is why theyre priming millions to win the messaging war on it (via WaPo) [emphasis mine]:
But heres the truth: 8 in 10 Americans will pay lower taxes next year, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Centers analysis of the final bill. Only 5 percent of people will pay more next year.

>I listened briefly to NPR this morning during my commute and some loser Dem senator was crying about how the money we save with this tax plan will be offset by the increased money we will need to spend on car repairs because our now-unfunded roads will be in such bad shape.
Hahaha!! Thank you! I just burst out laughing because I heard that exact same thing on NPR on my commute this morning as well. It was so funny. Despite their leftist bias, I do enjoy NPR at times because they do at least attempt to put out quality content. But that whole interview was hilarious, it sounded so desperate, the guy stammered for a second and that line came out with a “Oh yeah?! well your mom’s ugly!” feel to it. Talk about grasping at straws. Thanks for the laugh, I’m glad somebody other than me heard that. LOL!
The left are just like trained parrots right now. “tax cuts for the rick! caawww! tax cuts for the rich!! cawwww!”
And even though I’m in CA, I used one of those calculators and found my husband and I will save $4,400! Woo hoo! Very excited about this boost in my income.
It’s so odd to me that liberals apparently don’t want bigger paychecks. . .
They may think they have other cards to play, but we have the Trump card.
Progressives will just have to buy more votes.
Easy,they will ignore it
Did I miss any talking points?
Nope, you got them all.
