Top Republicans are stepping up their criticism of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, even suggesting he should be ousted amid allegations conflicts of interest and anti-Trump political prejudice at the agency.
“Andrew McCabe cuts across every facet of every investigation in 2016 that your viewers are interested in from Secretary [Hillary] Clinton’s emails to the investigation into the Trump campaign,” Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., a member of the House Judiciary Committee, told Fox News' "America's Newsroom" on Tuesday.
A day earlier, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley told reporters that McCabe should be fired. “And I’ve said that before and I’ve said it to people who can do it,” he said.
But Grassley, R-Iowa, added that doesn’t mean President Trump should get involved.
“Trump ought to stay out of it. I think it’s a Christopher Wray job,” Grassley reportedly said.
McCabe is expected to testify Tuesday afternoon in a closed-door hearing before the House Intelligence Committee as part of its investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

More likely, she watched the actual testimony of Wray, and how he specifically defended McCabe when one of the Congressmen questioned McCabe’s professionalism. Pretty sure it was Ghomert.
Would you have defendied McCabe as well? You can’t say you don’t defend Mueller, or at least no one would believe you if you tried.

Who else was in the room? What was discussed? Also, what did McCabe & Strzok discuss in his office 8/15/16? Will HPSCI ask?”

IF he testifies, no way he takes the 5th. I’ve seen this guy testify before and he ‘s very good at deception and diversion. He will do his best to make the case he and his closest associates are fantastic agents, completely dedicated to the Justice, and appear insulted at any insinuation to the contrary.
Whether or not he will lie, is the question, and if he does, what will be done about it.
Ever wonder why we can convict people of murder purely with circumstantial evidence but in political cases there doesn't ever seem to be sufficient evidence to convict a politician.

Travis you need to add Strzok’s wife, who was put in charge of “enforcement” at the SEC, less than 36 hours after her husband found detailed Clinton Foundation financial records on Anthony Wiener’s lap top in September 2016. You can also add Loretta Lynch, Brennan, Clapper, Hayden, Mike Morell, Susan Rice, Sally Yates, Samantha Power and, of course, Obama himself, to this list.

If you’re going to call for ouster, why start with McCabe? Start with Sessions, see if he is really alive and then work down several layers.
