Sounds like what happened to some idiots I used to work with. Only the home office guys understood the danger.

I believe that is an act of war. We have offensive cyber warfare capabilities. Give it back to them. What are they going to do? Threaten nuclear war? They already do that, about every day.

They work through Chinese Internet. Many are based in China. I don't know if they are still there after China started to implement ‘some’ part of international sanction.

I wish they would explain how malicious or criminal software gets inside a computer or a network.

My impression is that 95% of these breaches are caused by idiot users who click on attachments or links in their personal email.

If that's correct, stopping attacks like WannaCry is going to be difficult, no matter who creates them.

Or it could be the CIA/NSA using hacking software that leaves a NK signature which the CIA/NSA can confidently proclaim that the NK definitely did the hack because of the NK signature discovered on the hack.

I know we don’t want war, but still I’d really like to see North Korea’s major population center ( only one I think) become a flat, smoldering ruin.

IIRC the last attack to hit the Pentagon was because of some window licking idiot found a thumb drive in the parking lot on his way into work and decided to see what was on the drive.

"It encrypted and rendered useless hundreds of thousands of computers in hospitals, schools,..."

And many of them were said to be paying the "ransom." Drive on. Don't hire the technically inclined blue collar males. Continue installing those inferior, expensive systems.

Idiocracy. It's as hard headed as a hammer.
