apparently (from article reading) the range of the amateur ham radio is on the order of 20-25 miles.

this gives rise to the speculative possibility that nellie ohr was instructed to use the radio to make a small number of one way transmissions to her “cutout” who would be an intermediary between nellie (and possibly her husband, bruce) and her/their covert handler, as described by victor marchetti for lee harvey oswald’s alleged cutout.

You may be confusing Citizens Band Radios with HAM radios. I just looked at a website that says depending on the frequency and the antenna setup, HAM radios can get out 5,000 miles. There are also favorable atmospheric conditions that can add to that.

Everything and I mean EVERYTHING on HAM and HF communications is monitored, especially in DC. If the OHR’s thought they were cute in using it, that tells me more about just how dumb the elites in DC have deluded themselves into this level of narcissism.

Mike Rogers must be sitting back laughing his butt off.

For VHF without repeaters, yes. Other bands can reach the other side of the world if conditions are right.
