I prefer to think of us as tunneling under the red lines.
Just saying.
Well, no. Not wiped out. Read the old Testament, like Kings. The Canaanites that were not wiped out were a problem for the Jews for centuries.
If we read the Torah it says that the Canaanites were there before the time of our prophet Abraham and their existence continued since that timethis is in the Torah itself, said Abbas. But if they would like to fake this history, they are really masters in this and it is mentioned in the holy Quran they fabricate truth and they try to do that and they believe in that but we have been there in this location for thousands of years.
Yeah, that's the kind of incoherence typical of Abbas and every other mass-murdering terrorist -- if the Jews are just masters, why'd they mention the Canaanites at all? The Old Testament is literally the ONLY ancient record of their existence, anywhere.
Thanks SJackson. GGG and GGG digest ping.
Even so, I’d take odds that the Palis are no relation, and those that survived probably left after the Jews were exiled to Babylon, and for certain after the Roman exile began.
Palestine was a word conjured up by the Roman caesar a thousand years after Israel was established a nation and well before Islam became a religious sect.
Abbas expounding upon the Torah is like me expounding upon the Bhagavad Gita.

The Palies are no relation to the Canaanites They are Arabs. The Arabs were peripheral to the Levant prior to the Mohammedan conquests.
Didn't they intermarry?
I wouldn’t agree that they are all Arabs. The Mohammedan conquests were the conquests of people in the Levant, such as Edomites, Moabites and Amonites, as well as Assyrians and Babylonians, maybe including some descendants of surviving Canaanites, too. Culturally, they all became Arabian, religiously and linguistically, except for some Assyrians who still spoke Syriac, a dialect of Aramaic with its own alphabet. But culturally, conquered Spaniards also became Arabic for a while, according to Raphael Patai, somehow managing to join in the age-old Arabian feud between Yemen and Qys, even though genetically they were no relation.
Gene pools between the conquered and their conquerors are complicated things. That’s why many Iranians have the slanty eyes of Mongols. So, too, Arab conquerors probably raped and/or married many of the peoples they conquered, and the elites of the conquered peoples probably married Arab elites to cement lasting peace, whether it was accomplished by those unions or not. But strictly speaking, the bloodlines of the indigenous Levantine peoples are as much mingled with Arabs as Arabs are mingled with theirs. It’s remotely possible that in that mixture there might be a gene or two of Canaanite origin, but it’s probably not identifiable or even decisive in any trait or trait of anyone anywhere, and even if it could be identified from skeletal remains at archaeological digs, so what.
The Palestinians are neither indigenous nor homogeneous, and the Canaanite genes, assuming they’re ever identified, is as likely to show up in Libya or Iraq as among Palestinians, so called, many of whom come from there. A more likely place to find such genetic material would be among the Druze or the few remaining Samaritans, both of whom go back millenia in the region.
Jews have no need to fake either.
In which Jerusalem is never named.
But his other words are that Jerusalem and the land of Israel are give to the Jews by his moon god.
They’re just different divisions in Satan’s army. They may squabble among themselves, but they know who their real enemy is.
As I recall God ordered the Jews to kill every Caananite inclucing men women, children, and their livestock.
And Joshua, the Hebrew general, made a pretty good stab at following that order. If Abbas is claiming the Palestinians are simply old Caananites, then some must have got away.
That still doesn’t make the Caananites MUSLIM
Yeah, but didn’t kill all of them. Goliath was a Canaanite. Doubt Abbas is. Outside of scripture, you don’t find much about Canaanites the last few millennia. But I’m sure Abbas is a Canaanite.
It is interesting that for all of the caterwauling the Arabs and the left do about Palestine, with all of the archeology digs going on in Israel, they never seem to find any Arab artifacts. Lots of Biblical, Roman, and Jewish ones though...
