Why is it that a suspect is required to do everything perfectly lest they be killed yet the police may shoot an innocent person on the slightest fault?

He wasn’t- and it was no ‘slight fault’ it was a serious breech of a very serious command- as has been pointed out- the man screwed up several times and the police allowed it just like they did with the woman and with many other suspects- these were the ‘slight faults’ that were allowed- them ore serious one of reaching however was not —after— the second warning- it’s only when the man reached for his waistband, after being ordered not to- twice- that the potential for a armed confrontation occurred- the police warned him that IF he did that again, it was going to get ugly- they warned him to keep his hands away from his waistband-small of his back-
