How queer, President Obama banned “war on terror” and other words and phrases and the media did not castigate him as they are doing on Fakebook and elsewhere. Yep, newest “evidence” Trump is a NAZI.

You do realize this is 99% probably a totally fake report made to to cause this exact reaction you had.

I’m very aware that it is probably false (lies by omission, if nothing else).

The media pushes absolute bullsh!t every day, all day, 7 days a week, and Fakebook anointed themselves the arbiter of what is true and what is fake and never ever ever slaps NYT, LAT, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, WP, AP, Reuters, Newsweek, Time, DailyBeast, Vice, HuffingtonPost, NPR, PBS, et al for their damned lies.

Nope. They trend as fact for 3 days and then the apology does not trend. Fake fake fake.

Tired of it.

Traditional Depictions of Mothers to be Banned in Ads Next Year Amid War On ‘Gender Stereotypes’
Breitbart ^ | 12/14/17 | Virginia Hale

Cooking, cleaning mums will be banned in advertisements across the UK from next year, following a study which claimed traditional gender roles are “harmful and outdated”.

The decision to tighten regulation was announced by the Committees of Advertising Practice (CAP) this week, after a report published in summer identified gender stereotypes in adverts as a driver of inequality between men and women.

“Wherever they appear or are reinforced, gender stereotypes can lead to mental, physical and social harm which can limit the potential of groups and individuals,” the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) alleged in its study...

The Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) is the sister organisation of, and is administered by, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).[1] It is the body that created and maintains the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing which regulates non-broadcast marketing communications.

The CAP, alongside ASA, is primarily responsible for the constant revising and updating of the British Code of Advertising, Direct Marketing and Sales Promotion (CAP Code), through its Code Policy team.[3] The CAP also contains a Monitoring team, a Compliance team, and a Copy Advice team.

It works with advertisers across different industries and sectors to ensure they comply with the advertising Code, although while some rules are legally enforceable, the majority are self-regulatory and based on the commitment of involved stakeholders following best practice.[4] CAP provides training and advice for advertisers to help them understand the Code, a lot of which is done free of charge.[5]

Industries under particular focus for CAP in terms of rules and guidelines for advertising include alcohol[6] and gambling[7].

In December 2016, CAP announced it had extended the broadcast ban on banning junk food ads to digital media, stopping the advertising of “high fat, salt or sugar food or drink products in children’s media”. This covered print, cinema and digital channels, including social media.[8]..

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is the self-regulatory organisation (SRO) of the advertising industry in the United Kingdom. The ASA is a non-statutory organisation and so cannot interpret or enforce legislation. However, its code of advertising practice[1] broadly reflects legislation in many instances. The ASA is not funded by the British government, but by a levy on the advertising industry.

Its role is to “regulate the content of advertisements, sales promotions and direct marketing in the UK” by investigating “complaints made about ads, sales promotions or direct marketing”, and deciding whether such advertising complies with its advertising standards codes.[2] These codes stipulate that “before distributing or submitting a marketing communication for publication, marketers must hold documentary evidence to prove all claims, whether direct or implied, that are capable of objective substantiation” and that “no marketing communication should mislead, or be likely to mislead, by inaccuracy, ambiguity, exaggeration, omission or otherwise”.[3][4] The agency has also restricted ads featuring scantily clad women.[5]...
