Yes, it does. There’s no dispute that if we dress ‘provocatively ‘—whatever that may mean, we should expect men to notice. That’s rather the point. Compliments can be given without being disrespectful, although HR doesn’t think so.

Men may be surprised to learn that we women even compliment each other.

I’ve been on the receiving end of more sexual harassment on the job back in the day than I care to remember. I dressed as conservatively as possible in self defense. It didn’t matter.

I also like to believe that most non Muslim men have sufficient impulse control not to be driven into a lust driven frenzy at the sight of an attractive woman showing a little leg or cleavage.
