Kushner’s legal team looks to hire crisis public relations firm amid Russia probe

Senior White House official Jared Kushner and his legal team are searching for a crisis public relations firm, according to four people familiar with the matter.

Kushner’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, has quietly called at least two firms, these people said. The inquiries have occurred in the past two weeks, and officials at the firms were asked not to discuss the conversations with others.

In a statement, Lowell confirmed he was looking for a firm that would handle media for all high-profile clients that receive attention from the press. His other clients include Sen. Robert Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat whose months-long corruption trial ended last month when jurors deadlocked. The Justice Department has not announced whether it plans to retry him.

“My law firm and I are considering hiring an outside consultant to handle the time-consuming incoming inquiries on the cases in which I am working that receive media attention,” Lowell said in a statement to The Washington Post. “This inquiry from you about whether I am doing this is a good example of why we need one.”

Investigators for special counsel Robert S. Mueller III have asked witnesses questions about Kushner’s interactions with former national security adviser Michael T. Flynn as part of his larger investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election, according to people familiar with the investigation. Kushner has been identified by people familiar with his role as the “very senior member” of the Trump transition team who directed Flynn in December to reach out to the Russian ambassador and lobby him about a United Nations resolution on Israeli settlements, according to court documents. Federal prosecutors in the Eastern District of New York have also subpoenaed documents about his family company’s use of the EB-5 visa program at a planned Jersey City development.

There is a lot of speculation on Twitter that Flynn did not rat out Trump but Kushner who directed him to make the calls to Russia.

If Kushner lied to the FBI during his interview, Mueller will probably use Flynn's testimony to indict him.

Mueller couldn’t indict a ham sandwich right now. Any further indictments will only add to his problems.

Sounds like his lawyer is shopping around to repair his image with investigation ending.

So the WaPo isn’t interesting in the totally corrupt FBI who concocted the Russian story in the first place?

There is no Russia conspiracy. It’s all about process crimes.

Did Kushner lie in his FBI Interview?

Did Trump know Flynn lied in his FBI interview and obstruct justice?

It’s all manufactured nonsense but has to be taken seriously. The Deep State along with Democrats and establishment Republicans are eager to get rid of Trump by any means necessary.

My guess here: there are 2 tracks we are on. The first track is the U1 scandal which goes through Mueller & leads to Hillary & Obama. I don’t think Mueller & gang are going to be touched. Forget about a constitutional crisis....if Obama & Clinton go down there will be mobs in the streets & mass civil unrest. My guess is that the “Mueller investigation” will find nothing that reaches Trump & get out of town.

The second track is where you are going to find the fall guys. People like Andy McCabe & other FBI agents who are going to get thrown to the wolves in the hope that they can limit the damage of the fake Russian investigation to this group. We still don’t know everything....so we shall see how this plays out.

There’s was no need for Jeff’s blog to put crisis or Russia in the headline, except to create FAKE NEWS.

Gregg Jarrett: Did the FBI and the Justice Department, plot to clear Hillary Clinton, bring down Trump?

There is strong circumstantial evidence that an insidious plot unprecedented in American history was hatched within the FBI and the Obama Justice Department to help elect Hillary Clinton and defeat Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

And when this apparent effort to improperly influence the election did not succeed, the suspected conspirators appear to have employed a fraudulent investigation of President Trump in an attempt to undo the election results and remove him as president.

Such a Machiavellian scheme would move well beyond what is known as the “deep state,” a popular reference to government employees who organize in secret to impose their own political views on government policy in defiance of democratically elected leadership.

However, this apparent plot to keep Trump from becoming president and to weaken and potentially pave the way for his impeachment with a prolonged politically motivated investigation – if proven – would constitute something far more nefarious and dangerous.

Such a plot would show that partisans within the FBI and the Justice Department, driven by personal animus and a sense of political righteousness, surreptitiously conspired to subvert electoral democracy itself in our country.

As of now, we have no proof beyond a reasonable doubt of such a plot. But we have very strong circumstantial evidence.

And as the philosopher and writer Henry David Thoreau wrote in his journal in 1850: “Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk.”

Newly revealed text messages about the apparent anti-Trump plot are the equivalent of a trout in the milk. It smells fishy.

The Collusionists with their bull**** collusionism all need to be charged with sedition, subversion and treason. And throw in stealing taxpayer dollars to top it all off. If it wasn’t for these bull**** “collusion” accusations, NOBODY would have “lied” to the friggin’ FBI. This was all a commie ‘RAT setup and it needs to end.

Jared Kushner’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, is a registered Democrat, worked for the Jimmy Carter Justice Department, and donated to Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Jared's previous lawyer, Jamie Gorelick, worked in Bill Clinton's DOJ, and also donated to Hillary Clinton.

Kushner is either a political imbecile, or he plans to testify against Republicans.
