President Donald Trump vowed Thursday to scale back the scope of federal regulations to the level it stood in 1960, suggesting that he could get there "fairly quickly" by pushing ahead with a deregulatory effort that has wiped dozens of rules off the books since he took office.
"We're here today for one single reason: to cut the red tape of regulation," Trump said of his tenure, adding that "the never-ending growth of red tape in America has come to a sudden, screeching and beautiful halt" under his administration.
**SNIP**
The administration eliminated 67 regulations between the time Trump took the oath of office and the end of fiscal 2017, according to the White House's newly released "Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions," while proposing just three new rules. Those regulations included imposing restrictions on how dental offices dispose of mercury, stricter energy-efficiency standards for walk-in freezers and coolers, and a new billing and reporting system for skilled nursing facilities.

Throw in Husseincare and it's a deal.
That would be a god start.
I hope that means getting rid of the Dept of Education.
A good first step toward common-sense regulatory control ...
Q: Can President Trump slow down a little while we catch our breath?
A: Oh, I hope not!
This is a good first step.
Go!!! MAGA!!! I laugh at the lamentations of the LIBs and their criminal pals.
Something to remember is that we are fighting a holding action at this point, nothing more. The US will become like Europe sooner rather than later. The next president will undo all of Trump’s work, so Trump needs to do enough carving and slashing and deregulation so that it will take time to restore it, thus extending our freedom a little longer.
Has anyone else noticed that all online media has gotten rid of reader comment feature?
The Demonrats must have figured that letting the little people comment on their lies was wising too many up?
Truman and Eisenhower were big regulators
True. Donald Trump is a tourniquet to stop the bleeding of freedom out of America. And that's all. To heal the wound it will take us. We The People. And it will be a long, ugly fight. More to follow. Stay tuned.
You will have to burn down a lot of buildings and bleachbit a lot of computers to do that. And you will have to fight the 5,000,000 strong and growing swamp critters whose jobs in large measure spring from the care, feeding, growth, enforcement and mindful evasion of those same regulations.
I have three requests of the EPA:
1. Please give back our old-style gas cans that actually allowed us to pour gas safely and efficiently.
2. Give us back old-style toilets that used enough water to actually force the waste into the sewer system.
3. Restore us our old-style faucets and shower heads so the flow is strong enough to do the job.
And, above all, leave us the h-ll alone!
And the sooner the better. BEST PRESIDENT EVER IN MY LIFETIME (76 years)! MAGA !!!!
2. Give us back old-style toilets that used enough water to actually force the waste into the sewer system.
3. Restore us our old-style faucets and shower heads so the flow is strong enough to do the job.
The newest low-usage toilets are pretty impressive. I asked the plumbing supply guys for a toilet that could flush a basketball shoe, and they sold me a Toto. I actually have not tried a shoe, but this thing has performed grandly.
Faucets and shower heads can be modified by the consumer for greater flow.
Think of the horde of federal bureaucrats that will be defunded and out of their jobs.
Win-win. And expect those who will fight tooth and nail every step. We haven't seen nasty yet.

Healing the wound will never be accomplished until the entire education establishment is overhauled and taken out of the hands of the leftists, Democrats, Socialists, Communists, and Globalists. Oh, and I almost forgot: The criminal anti-American cabal known as the Deep State must be eradicated.
The Japanese Toto is an impressive toilet. I’m acquainted with people who also have the Toto Washlet, which is a replacement toilet seat with a built-in bidet. The bidet water is heated for comfort and so is the seat. The bidet “head” is stainless steel and computerized with a small electric motor to move the head back and forth in a selectable, programmable pattern for optimal comfort, cleanliness and to accommodate differing physiques. It also sterilizes itself after each use. A Toto toilet equipped with Washlet flushes very thoroughly and uses less water than a standard low flow toilet. Not cheap but it’s a very nice thing, especially if you have back problems or hemmorhoids that would make using toilet tissue painful or uncomfortable. Not cheap, but not as expensive as many would think, probably less than $1000 installed. The Washlet seat will fit any standard toilet also, that runs between $300 - $600 depending on model and options.
This is as good for business as tax cuts. Winning!

There are many dozens of government rules and regulations that infuriate me, but your No.1 is right up at the top of my list. I’ve had to modify every one of my gas and diesel fuel cans to overcome the frustration and hazard caused by some damn D.C. desk jockey.
