Oommarm Sen Johnson
“One wonders just what limitations someone like Strzok would consider appropriate when facilitating an “insurance policy?””
My guess is they planned to use the GPS Fusion dossier to get FISA warrants and hope to get some dirt on Trump via phone taps. Failing that, perhaps leak the dossier directly (more risky option).
The irony of all this is: if Mueller hadn’t been appointed Special Council, and Strzok hired by Mueller, we would have never known about any of this.
The OIG would have found the texts, and Strzok likely would have been moved to “Personnel”, but without Hill pressure, none of this would ever have been made public (and Mueller et al. stalled for months before disclosing why Strzok was moved).
Before the “insurance policy” meeting, McCabe was being looked at merely for “conflict of interest” over his wife’s political campaign, and likely would have been “exonerated”. Now, we know the “insurance policy meeting” was in his office, and McCabe is not going to walk away from this.
Also, Strzok and GF were using burner phones specifically to communicate info about Clinton. Given their amazing recklessness on what they put on their work phones, what they put on their burner phones was almost certainly criminal - and we are going to likely find out what that was as well !
Bttt
I just re-watched Tucker's opening. It was Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Chairman of the Senate's Homeland Security Committee.
Before I even watched, I knew it had to be a Republican because who else would appear so wimpy, "when push came to shove."
This is what we have representing us. God help us.
oooooohhh...sending a LETTER!! I’m shaking!! The Dems would have sent the CAPITOL POLICE!! COWARDS...all we have are COWARDS!
“My guess... “
Your guess seems to me the product of something increasingly rare at FR, reason.
Thanks Rev.
Also, on a more serious note:
A Reverend, a Buddhist and an Muslim walk straight into a bar...
...thus ending their debate over who best understands the concept of limbo in a three-way posthumous tie.
