Not one of my goals, to stay here quite that long, but to each his own incentive to deal with life. All we really have to measure reality by is our own experience. If I do live into the triple digits, I may feel differently.

Secret to long life: seafood. Animals are parasites and fish are prime targets, because they have a lot of life force and a lot of flavor. Mostly flavor. Anyone who doesn’t see it that way can live a short lifespan.

I have a cousin who turned 104 this past July. Amazing life.

It must stink to see your kids die....of old age. I hope he gets some great-great grandkids soon.

No one left from the 1800’s, last one, Italian Emma Morano, died in April, though the current world’s oldest woman, Nabi Tajima, was born in 1900, still the 19th century.
