Glad to hear the weather wasn’t too bad there today. Now hoping it will be nice for your drive home tomorrow.

It didn’t warm up as much here as they said it would, plus there was a whipping wind. Not much fun to be outside.

Took Lorien back to the vet this afternoon and he’s keeping her overnight to give her fluids. She got dehydrated being sick and unable to keep even water down for too long and though she was able to keep it down by last night, she wasn’t getting enough. Her little body needs flushing and it’ll get it tonight. She should be ok tomorrow.

Was the service a nice one this morning? Were many of her friends able to make it?

I hope little Lorien will be fine by tomorrow...poor baby!

The service was very sweet. Her preacher from here did the service and he told sweet and funny stories about her. Several of her friends were there, as well as our group. One of Dulcie’s other son’s son Facetimed the service so his parents could be there that way.We all ate together afterwards and they all dispersed. David came to our room later and we visited for a while. He has to get his poor car to the Honda place here to find out why the engine light is coming on. Then he’ll start home...and we’ll leave here in the morning.

Ugh on the wind. Makes it seem even worse than it really is, huh!
