Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was among the targets of an investigation in Turkey into suspected bribery and money laundering in connection with a scheme to help Iran evade sanctions, a former Istanbul police officer has testified.
The officer, Huseyin Korkmaz, told a New York court on December 11 that the Turkish investigation that he led in 2012-2013 initially focused on Turkish-Iranian businessman Reza Zarrab, who U.S. prosecutors have said was the mastermind behind the Iran sanctions evasion scheme, but later grew to include dozens of others.
He called Erdogan the "No. 1" target in a group that also included former Economy Minister Mehmet Zafer Caglayan and Suleyman Aslan, the ex-CEO of state-owned Halkbank, which he said was at the center of the scheme.

In testimony last week, Zarrab said he was told that Erdogan personally ordered that two Turkish banks be cut in on the alleged laundering scheme
How refreshing that something like this has come out...
I hope the words BHO come out of this as well.

Well, he and Erdogan were best buddies.
One Islamist to another.
Erdogan and Obama (& Hillary) cooperated in building and supporting the Arab Jihadi groups in Syria. FACT. I doubt Obama was involved in the bypassing of Iranian sanctions with Erdogan. But he gave the Iranians a plane load of cash and many million dollars toward the end of Obama’s rule.
I hold both in high contempt.
Yes, Iran and Turkey = forces of evil.
Putin? A lesser evil. But he does do business with both of the previous 2.
It was bigger than that. Technology went out as well as we were aware of as a starter, missile trajectory software.
Also , we see the problem manifesting itself in Noko, Pakistan and Iran all sharing technologies right down to rockets. So now we see the axis getting mouthy. Fight one of the punks and you have them all in.
In the meanwhile Iran is shipping missiles into the mideast to all it’s proxies.
Did anyone want to bring in uranium 1 into the equation?
