I have to wonder which part was true? She was forcibly removed but not actually fired until Jan 20? Knowing the news... some of this is embellished to make Trump look bad until the truth comes out.
When she was on The Apprentice, I thought Omarosa was an insufferable pig, and never understood why Trump gave her the time of day once she was off the show. Condi Rice she ain’t.

You fire someone on December 12th or 13th, but their actual date of leaving employment isn’t until January 20th? Huh? Wow, they must be dragging her out in slow-motion, in order to make it last until January 20th. What a bunch of crap.
Not unusual for an employee to be evicted from the premises & barred from re-entry, but still technically employed as a grace period until official severance. Gives the terminated some time to find new options before income ends, and prevents any potential issues stemming from having the fired present.
I’m wondering if she was leaking to the press and got caught.

Keeping her on the payroll until after Christmas was a kind thing to do. Getting a pink slip just prior to Christmas is hard to take, I’d imagine. Many people mistake kindness for weakness these days . . .
