At this point in my 70 years of life, I don't believe anything the media reports these days, especially when it's a negative story about President Trump, or anyone associated with him. I refuse to get sucked in to their agenda.
While the competition part of the show was shown to be real enough,That doesn't mean the whole show was scripted. YMMV
