The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!
More than 650,000 Trump voters in Alabama didn't choose either man. They stayed home today.

Jones' votes are going to be crucial to the Dem's liberal agenda over the next three years. There's no way in hell that Schumer will let him off the reservation while the Senate is so evenly divided.

Unfortunately, there are 3 full years remaining. Sessions was elected in Nov 2014. Next election is Nov 2020. Term ends Jan 2021. 3 full years.
I support Bannon and what he wants to do , but Bannon needs to fully vet and even do his own oppo research on any candidate that he has plans on pushing . The candidates need to be bulletproof as far as what just happened to the hapless Moore . This is a dangerous game and I would rather Bannon and McConnell come to some type of détente , than to have to deal with losses on our own home turf .. someone please tell Bannon to VET his candidates better. No more Moore’s ... This is all about MAGA
That was really a dirty play. Evidently a lot of AL Republicans felt that if they can’t feel proud of their candidate and their own Senator won’t even vote for him, well they’ll just stay home instead. And they did.

I think you are exactly right. I am from Chicago, but I have traveled and met many Southerners. They have values. It must have been an extremely difficult choice for them.
And by doing so, they chose Jones, assuming this election wasn't rigged of course. Not showing up to vote knowing if you don't show up, you increase the likelihood of Jones and the likelihood of an anti-MAGA agenda is not to be commended, at least in my book.
Heck, I bother to vote and I live in California!

Could not agree more. Roy Moore did this to himself. Sadly, it all could have been handled differently, so as not to have led to this loss. But, as it is said, “It is what it is.” And the war wages on. Battles will be lost, and surely, this be one. However, the war wages on. Faint not! We fight on!

If Moore had answered Hannity’s question with a stern, authoritative “NO!” he would’ve squashed the allegations
I disagree. Moore was going to get nuked no matter what he said to Hannity. Like Trump last year. He just wasn’t a good enough candidate to win with his party and the Dems campaigning against him. That Jones was able to robo call the entire state with Senator Shelby telling voters to not vote for Moore was devastating.
