The fate of the nation in the balance (Supreme Court, etc.), and people didn't turn out.
Just mindboggled.
Well, Democrats did.
Apparently, it was the greatest get-out-the-vote effort in state history.
Oh, people turned out - from other states.
People were told here if they voted for a “pedophile”, their vote would be made public...and many other lies...scared too many people. People just aren’t as informed as they should be these days. I did what I could, but it’s hard to even broach politics in the workplace or you could get fired.
Many people don’t care about politics. Any time I bring up the subject to my in laws, including the deep state, treason, cahoots and shenanigans going on they just say they don’t follow/bother with all that as it doesn’t affect their lives. These are people who voted Trump and were fine talking politics during the election year.
Sounds to me like 60% of those in Alabama had better things to do. Smart people.
Christians have been heavily involved in partisan politics for the last 40 years. What do we really have to show for it? Is abortion illegal? Is it easier or harder to practice our faith than it was 40 years ago?
Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.
