For those of you not in Alabama, this was one of the weirdest elections I’ve ever seen.
Roy Moore had hardly any money at to campaign with. In teh primaries he had HUGE Washington money from Mitch McConnell against him.
The Dem candidate touted himself as a conservative on his TV ads. His website touts his “Full Support of Planned Parenthood”. Just stupid crap like that.
The Dems poured $20,000,000 - $30,000,000 easily into Alabama in this race. This was David fighting 4-5 Goliaths. The Goliaths won. Assuming the margin holds as is right now.
Already there. Sessions was the last straw for me. Alabama goes down to defeat by Northern liberalism again.
I just posted the following on Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell’s Facebook pages:
May the blood of the innocent unborn babies in Alabama be on your hands and the hands of Paul Ryan. You people had it all. And because of your power-hungriness and selfishness, you lost a seat in a red state.
Oh, people turned out - from other states.
Shawn Hannity also did a number on Moore, who allowed himself to be bushwacked in a telephone interrogation on national television. Not smart.

True.
And not only is the man utterly unlikable, he’s imminently dis likeable.
It’s not so much that he was a poor communicator but that he could not acquit himself of the charges because there was probably a lot of truth to them.
People need to realize the battlefield for what it is and not the way they wish it were. Menendez went into his reelection with rumors of him having sex with underage prostitutes. The media buried the story for him.
If the parties were reversed here, we would not have heard from these women because the media wouldn’t have sought them out. Instead, they sat on this until it was too late to get Moore off the ballot, and they got what they wanted: an extra Senate seat for Schumer.
God has the final Word on everything and everybody. Woe to those who vote to kill His creation in any election. We are here for only a season and then the judgment for our place in eternity.
Roy Moore got less than 600,000 votes in a state that Trump won handily with 1.3 million votes last year. The Democrats didn’t even NEED any fraud here in this election.
Exactly, all the Democrats that said they are going to “resign” will suddenly see the light and change their minds.

Not that it matters, but Democrat Incumbent backed by the Media/Democrat/GOP Axis will be up in 2020, not 2021.
Right. Bannion picked a Republican candidate that, for crying aloud, could not win in ALABAMA! And you think I’m the problem? I had nothing to do with it. Blame those who couldn’t find a yellow dog to run as a Republican and win.

I will disagree with you that. McConnell screwed the primaries by trashing Brooks and Moore. Truth be told, it was probably McConnell’s money that found the accusers.
Find a way to lose. Seems to be the strategy.

It was Mitch McConnell who torpedoed Mo Brooks and it was Mitch McConnell who along with his Rino republicans (thanks for the write-ins Shelby) ensured that Moore would not win.
New rule: get women to accuse your opponent of sexual harassment, sexual assault, or rape. No evidence needed; accusation equals conviction.
Mitch McConnell stabbed Chris McDaniel in the back.
Mitch McConnell stabbed Roy Moore in the back.
Mitch McConnell is not a Republican; he is a Swampocrat and a greater danger to the Republic than Chuck Schumer.
