And exactly from what pool of impartial, trustworthy current or former DOJ or FBI swamp creatures will they draw this special counsel/prosecutor??

Stop talking about it and start doing it.
You always say you’ll never tell the enemy what you’re going to do or when. Why would you let (if it’s worse case scenario) an enemy embedded in your government dig in their defenses, and prepare plans and counter-measures?

Implement the same procedures on the FBI that are implemented on a company suspected of defrauding the Federal government.

Actually... I think that this IS Trumps stealth strategy.....Mueller cannot afford to have Trump rummaging through his stuff......so I see it as a knife to throat overture to Mueller to wrap this up.

Probe Russia investigators?
Why???
They are saintly, wonderful, brilliant, intelligent, merciful, without fault, and so noble as to be worthy of a title as such in violation of the Constitution written by those old and selfish white men.

This Mueller investigation staffed by the gang that couldn’t shoot straight has all the markings of a Dr Seuss fable.

I have long maintained that Trump may be famed as a negotiator but that was often when he had little to bargain with. He has more leverage than he has ever dreamed of now. We don’t want another Obama politicizing everything but hopefully Trump’s handbag fights with the press and everyone else are sleight of hand while he twists arms in the Deep State. If you’ve ever dealt with federal bureaucrats you know this may be a hard slog but here is the silver lining: most federal bureaucrats are qualified to do nothing else which means they can not earn a living anywhere else which means they fear being cast out of the nest. Hopefully Trump is aware of their desperation and uses it to his advantage.
To: z3n
These are Trump's own lawyers. They have no impact on DOJ protocols related to a special counsel. In this particular case, they are speaking on behalf of Donald Trump as representatives of a victim of DOJ/FBI misconduct.

That’s a great question. However, I encourage it. If Mueller is running a smear operation, then expose it. If not, then this will show that his operation is doing what needs to be done.
To: LIConFem
Who would pick this new Special Counsel? Jeff Sessions? Rod Rosenstein?
To: chuckee
They couldn't have botched this thing more badly if they tried.
Which makes me wonder if the whole point of setting up this whole special counsel charade was to have them botch it by pulling the pins out of every hand grenade that came into their hands.
