Becerra Tried To Block Server Admin Over Red Flags, But Logins Continued, With Muted Reaction
Daily Caller ^ | 12/11/2017 | Luke Rosiak

Posted on 12/11/2017 12:36:38 PM PST by mojito

Xavier Becerra, the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, barely reacted when he learned the caucus server had been infiltrated in 2016, although he loudly decried the hack of the Democratic National Committee that happened around that same time....

The then-congressman, who is now California’s AG, refused to articulate...details of the cyber breach at a press conference Wednesday, and would not say whether he’s seeking criminal charges against longtime IT aide Imran Awan and his family.

....His reaction is odd given Democrats’ vocal abhorrence of the breach of the DNC resulting in the publication of its emails by Wikileaks....Early signs of that breach were treated casually by the DNC when first detected: A tech manager said he was too busy with other matters to chase down leads, the FBI’s calls weren’t returned, the DNC delayed a response to focus on the primaries, and Donna Brazile said when DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz finally relayed the news of the breach to officers weeks later, her tone was “casual.”

But even after the Wikileaks publication of DNC emails, Becerra never publicly acknowledged nor demanded consequences for the cyber breach on the server of a group similar in nature to the DNC.

Eighteen months later, no one has been charged or disciplined for the breach, which is perhaps not surprising since the victims don’t appear to be asking for it.

The Awan family was logging in to Becerra’s Caucus server with 17 different accounts belonging to offices whose data should have had no connection to the caucus, according to the House investigative report. The patterns were consistent with data being funneled onto Becerra’s server from other members of Congress, but members said Becerra never alerted them of any aberrations.

“Blackmailed”?

Try probably “being paid to close his eyes” while Russia et all just helped themselves to the cookie jar!!

Remember Hillary was being paid by Russia through Uranium 1
Every Dem in DC thought they could retail bits and pieces of all of us and our government to the rest of the world-as long as she was elected

Gee, I just noticed........Becerra reminds me so much of John Conyers.........a younger Conyers to be sure.

So maybe there’s a good reason Xavier didnt “notice” the server problem........

Maybe Conyers was showing him the ropes about staff groping, the elevator deal, and so on.

ROTFLOL

The issue of the Awans blackmailing Democrat employers keeps surfacing. Could this be why?

Democrat NY Cong Yvette Clarke's office approved a $120,000 "write-off" of tax-paid tech Equipment Linked To the Awan clan (made the tax dollars and the equipment disappear).

The missing govt-issue tax-paid devices included many iPhones and iPads. At $800 each, Cong Yvette Clarke's $120,000 write-off would force taxpayers to pay for 150 electronic items for her staff of 16......that's about 10 iPhones and iPads each.

Democrat Cong Yvette Clarke's tax-paid payroll records indicate she has 16 employees......why did Cong Clarke need so many electronics for that small staff?

She was also oblivious to the fact that all that expensive she ordered was delivered to Imran's house.

According to ace reporting by the Daily Caller, Cong Clarke's office casually signed off on what appears to be a theft ring operating inside the Democrat Congressional Caucus then-headed by Cong Becerra.

The facts suggest the Awan gang was running the oldest of scams......selling computer gear out the back door after first reporting it stolen to authorities. (hat tip The Daily Caller)

NOTE: Democrat Clarke is only one employer audited, so far. Patterns of theft in other Democrat offices have yet to be investigated.

Should the press decide it’s time to man-up and do some actual journo work, they might ask:

1. Who coordinated the hiring of the Awan clan by dozens of Democratic Congressman?

2. Why were they so grossly overcompensated w/ millions of tax dollar for little or no work?

3. Were kick-backs to the Democrats included? For doing “dirty work." Or was the clan blackmailing them?

4. Why did D/W/S threaten the Capitol Police about the laptop confiscated from Imran Awan?

5. Why did D/W/S keep Imran on her payroll after the Capitol Police barred the Paki clan from accessing Congressional computers?

6. Why did Iraqi fugitive and Hizb'allah supporter, Dr. Ali-al Attar, “lend” the Awan's $100,000?

7. Who is paying Chris Gowen, a bigtime Clinton insider, to represent Imran Awan?

8. Why did the Awan clan have security clearances after several bankruptcies and financial misdealings?

How Did the Democrats’ IT Scandal Suspects Get Here?
Townhall.com ^ | August 9, 2017 | Michelle Malkin / FR Posted by Kaslin

Here is a radical proposition: The public has a right to know the immigration status and history of foreign criminal suspects. Their entrance and employment sponsorship records should not be treated like classified government secrets — especially if the public’s tax dollars subsidized their salaries.

In March, I contacted the D.C. offices of House Congressional Democrats Joaquin Castro of Texas, Sander Levin of Michigan, Marcia Fudge of Ohio, Greg Meeks of New York and Ted Deutch of Florida. These public officials have at one time or another employed one of three Pakistani Muslim brothers or their family and friends caught up in a criminal theft and hacking probe of the House Democrats’ information security systems. In all, IT worker Imran Awan and his family and friends hoovered up an estimated $4 million in government funds over a period of 13 years.

For months, the D.C. Capitol Police have probed allegations that the Awan ring stole equipment from more than 20 congressional offices and accessed the House IT system without members’ knowledge. Investigative reporter Luke Rosiak at The Daily Caller News Foundation has done excellent work on the case — most recently breaking the news of Imran Awan’s arrest in late July at the airport for alleged bank fraud, mortgage scams and shady wire transfers of nearly $300,000.

Awan was headed to Pakistan to join his wife, Hina Alvi, and three children, who had hastily fled America in March after Alvi was fired by Rep. Meeks. This reeks.

My question to the House Democrats was simple: Were the Awans and their family and friends H-1B tech workers — like so many of the 650,000 “temporary” foreign guest workers imported into America under that program over the past quarter-century and predominantly working in IT?

And if they’re not H-1Bs, how exactly did Awan and company get here, when did they get here, and who brought them over here and why?

These are simple questions. Given that these foreign IT workers now under investigation were paid for with our tax dollars, Americans deserve to know their path to the public trough. This is especially true when so many members of Congress in both parties continue to clamor for expanding foreign guest-worker programs like H-1B and refuse to enact freezes on corrupted visa programs exploited by foreign tourists (B visas), students (F-1 visas) and workers (H visas) acting in bad faith.

Moreover, U.S. tech workers have grown increasingly vocal about being forced to train underqualified, shoddily vetted foreign replacements before getting pink-slipped — and increasingly alarmed at their access to sensitive personal, financial and health data.

Awan first landed a job with former Democrat Rep. Robert Wexler as an “information technology director” in 2004 at the ripe age of 24 or 25. His younger brother, Jamal, is reportedly only 23 years old, yet has pulled in a salary of nearly $160,000 a year since 2014 (when he was 20!) as an information technology worker for Democrat Rep. Julia Brownley. That’s 3.1 times greater than the median salary for a House IT worker, according to InsideGov.

Who sponsored these young foreign techies and chose them to do work in our nation’s capital doing a job that countless young Americans are qualified to do? If not H-1B, did they arrive first as students on foreign visas (who are supposed to return home after their course of study), then game the system to work through the cheap-labor loopholes, such as the Optional Practical Training program? Or did they switch visa categories? Did they pull strings through their well-connected Democratic employers?

The communications official in Rep. Castro’s office, which employed Imran’s brother, Jamal, responded that she would “touch base with some colleagues” and keep me posted. No word since. The others didn’t bother to answer at all, nor did they respond when I followed up last week.

As for defiant Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who only fired Awan after his arrest two weeks ago, it’s apparently un-American to question how foreign criminal suspects got to America and stayed here. Schultz last week cited “racial and ethnic profiling concerns that I had” to deflect from her eyebrow-raising handling of the matter, which now involves smashed hard drives seized from Awan’s home by the FBI.

The good news is that Sen. Charles Grassley, in August 2017, asked DHS for all immigration summaries and detainers for Imran Awan, wife Hina Alvi, brothers Jamal and Abid Awan, and friends/associates Natalia Sova and Rao Abbas.

But it shouldn’t take a Senate demand letter to penetrate the Dems’ partisan protectionism. We paid the salaries of their suspect foreign IT minions. They answer to us.

The Awan clan were pakistani/MB spies who infiltrated all democrat emails and other computer traffic from the offices of the 24 democrat House Members who hired them. The DNC too. The fact that no one has yet been arrested baffles the mind. And I’m not talking about the Awan’s...I’m talking about the traitors in Congress who gave them access.

Every time a see moslem infiltration into our government, my mind immediately makes the connection "Obama" -- our first moslem President. I suspect that good old Barack Hussein placed as many sleepers and spies as he could.

EXCERPT....then-Democrat Cong Becerra never publicly acknowledged nor demanded consequences for the cyber breach on his House Democratic Caucus server (similar in nature to the DNC)......and eighteen months later, no one has been charged....not surprising since the elected Democrats don’t appear to be asking for it......

A huge red flag. This is organized crime on Capitol Hill.

Democrats have apparently taken the "Oath of Omerta."
