It’s all a show but fueled with real anger and frustration. Instead of directing their anger at thier leaders, they direct it against non-Muslims or other Muslims not in your sect.
Add the Holy month of Ramadan when they abstain from food, drink and sex for 30 whole days only breaking the fast at dinner! Then, they’re REALLY pissed off!
Note that during Ramadan, it is a great deed to kill Infidels or poorly behaving other Muslims so you will be making the VIRTUAL Haj or holy pilgimage to Mecca. They earn extra Brownie points by killing during that festive month. Just look at the data. All year long they kill, maim and rape but during that holiday it is even worse for the rest of us...
