“Franken did not resign. He said he was going to resign.”
He's resigned himself to resign, at some point in the future.

Franken is a liberal Democrat, he votes the right way, and he should stayit wouldnt shock me at all if thats what the Left privately thinks.
...
They wanted Franken to stay because he raised a lot of money. They could care less about who he attacked.

“Well, the dam broke for Sen. Al Franken (D-MN). Hes going to leave.”
Is he, really? He said that he was going to resign “in the coming weeks.” IOW, he didn’t ACTUALLY resign. When the Alabama Senate race is over, I am willing to bet that he starts backtracking, and ends up staying.

It's not just the Dems that sat silent, GOP did too as they had their own perverts to cover up.
This is US Rep Diane Black, several terms in the House, steered gov't contracts to her hubby's business, sat silent, now wants to name the names who tax payers paid off the victims for. Reason..she wants to be Tennessee's next Governor. WE DON'T NEED a DO NOTHING LIKE HER! Randy Boyd is PRO-AMNESTY, PRO-REFUGEE, MORE TAXES a RINO.

Bah, forget Democrats. Self righteous Mitch McConnell is running the Senate, what ethics investigations has he initiated against any of the crooks and deviants in that august body? None.
Until a conservative republican comes along and embarrasses him by beating the guy Mitch hand picked. Then after Mitch nationalizes that election and it seems the interloper might win anyway, only then does Mitch McConnell discover his conscience and insist that there must be an investigation that will ultimately lead to a THIRD effort to get rid of Moore.
I really hope Moore finds something on that self righteous pompous hypocrite Mitch McConnell and blasts it out for the world to see.

The top Democrat in the House is calling on a Nevada congressman to resign amid an allegation of sexual misconduct. In a statement early Saturday morning, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says she spoke to Rep. Ruben Kihuen Friday night. She says the allegation against him from a former aide was convincing and in light of the accusation, "Congressman Kihuen should resign." BuzzFeed News had reported that Kihuen is alleged to have repeatedly made sexual advances toward an aide during his 2016 congressional campaign.

Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D-Nev.) said Tuesday he will not resign from his post amid allegations of sexual harassment from a former staffer. Kihuen asserted in an ABC News interview that party leaders knew last year about the woman's allegations of sexual misconduct, but did not take action against his campaign. A woman who previously worked as the finance director for Kihuen alleged that she was harassed by the Nevada Democrat while working on his 2016 campaign, BuzzFeed reported last week.

Democratic Party leaders are calling for Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D., Nev.) to resign over sexual harassment allegations, but he is refusing to do so -- and even making counter accusations. Kihuen told ABC News that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), as well as Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Rep. Ben Ray Lujan (N.M.), knew about the allegations last year and did nothing. "I do find it interesting that the DCCC, Leader Pelosi and Chairman Ben Ray Lujan -- they knew about these allegations last year," Kihuen said. "They looked into them. They didn't find anything, and they continued investing millions of dollars...

A first-term Democratic congressman accused of sexual harassment said that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi knew about the allegations while he was running for office and supported him anyway, putting millions of dollars behind his 2016 congressional campaign. During his campaign, Nevada Rep. Ruben Kihuen allegedly propositioned a female staffer for sex on multiple occasions and touched her thighs. The staffer resigned during Kuhen's primary campaign as a result of his harassment, she told BuzzFeed. Pelosi was quick to demand Kihuen's resignation after the allegations became public, but she actually has known about the harassment allegations for a while, Kihuen...

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid raised eyebrows at a New York City fundraiser hosted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg Monday morning when he referred to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand as the "hottest member," according to CNN. Gillibrand, who was seated only a few feet away from Reid at Bloomberg's New York townhouse, flushed with embarrassment at the comment, CNN reports. According to a Politico source, Reid delivered remarks praising New York's senior senator, Chuck Schumer, before turning to Gillibrand and adding that, "many senators are known for many things," and that "we in the Senate refer to Sen. Gillibrand as the hottest...

Right-wing radio host Wayne Allyn Root delivered a furious rant in defense of Roy Moore on his radio program after reports surfaced that Moore had pursued sexual relationships with teenage girls when he was in his 30s, demanding to know why the press never investigated reports that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama had gay relationships. "They're scumbags," Root said of Moore's critics, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, whom Root insisted is "evil" and "looks like he died 20 years ago." Root said that based on the photos he has seen of the women who have accused Moore of...
